Dollar General

on 9-23-19, I went to this DG store.(store # 15804).. I had received a coupon for 5.03 from Starkist Tuna in the mail from a settlement received from a lawsuit filed against them. The cashier there at first tried to say that the coupon was for more that what I had purchased..which was not the case. He kept saying it stated to buy 3 products. I showed him where it stated to purchase at least 3..and I had purchased 6..which made the total purchase 6.00 ..and I was using the cpn for 5.03..then he started arguing about how that this could be a counterfeit coupon!.. when it was a card mailed to me from the company..u could plainly see my name and address on it..and the address of the company and it plainly stated it was a SETTLEMENT!.after I threatened to leave everything I had purchased and not ever come bk in the store. he finally used the cpn..after making me feel like a total CRIMINAL!.. for using a legitimate coupon!.. I will never go to this store again..ever..and I am certainly not the only one that is very disgusted with DG and its coupon policies!
