Today is July 26,2023 I took my car in this morning to get an alignment at Calvert's Express on 350 Highway Raytown, MO. The guy asked me why do I think that I need a front end alignment, I told him that I had a lower right arm put on. I wanted to know if I needed one or not. The car was driving fine. I left my car there and about 30 minutes later he called me and said that the pin was missing out of the ball joint and the back bolt was loose. My pin was in the ball joint when I took it there because my husband handed the pin to the guy that put it on my car weeks before. we both were there. When I told the guy at Calvert's that a mechanic put it on my car he went on and on about its people like me causes mechanics to look for other jobs because they don't make money when we go somewhere else then come to them for service that cost a couple of dollars. So, his worker lifted my car back up to show me. when I touch the bolt, it was at the end almost off I told him that this was not like that because it would have came off long before now I wouldn't have made it from my house to the shop if it was that loose. He gave me my keys and left it like that for me to drive I asked him if he had a tool so I could tighten it he refused to let me and he wouldn't do it. I had to turn it with my fingers so I could make it home. If I had left that shop and had an accident, he would be getting sued for putting my life in danger. because I know that they loosen that bolt and took my pin for a fact. Any other company would have tighten the bolt for me and put a pin in the ball joint and charge me. Instead they charged me $44.87 for tampering with my car. I had to buy another pin because they took mine off of my car.
Desired outcome: Refund
