Macy's - Order placed never recieved charged credit card and now ignoring and no refund

On August 7,2023 my partner and I went into the Macy's Oakland Mall location and spoke with salesperson in the furniture department. We were there to inquire on patio furniture that I found on the Macy's website. The salesperson assisted with the purchase of two outdoor furniture sets from Westin Trends which was only available via online order. He placed the orders on the website with Macy's and then he rang the order up on the register in the store furniture department.

We were instructed that an email would be sent to my email with the order number and UPS delivery information. He stated the email would be sent within the next few weeks. We waited and received no information, we contacted the store on September 6, 2023, regarding where our merchandise was. We made numerous calls to Macy's customer service went into the store spoke with customer service, furniture sale associate and manager of the furniture department and received zero answers. I contacted Westin Trends and was informed that they never received an order with our names, address, phone number or email.

I have filed dispute with the Macy's credit card company and have sent in the paper evidence that I have numerous times have spoken with several individuals that promise they will get to the bottom of this incident.

I was only informed that the dispute was closed after we called as a follow up on our part. The reason for the closure was reported that evidence was requested but never provided. I provided the receipt from Macy's and emails between me and Westin Trends stating there was never an order placed. I faxed, emailed all this information numerous times.

I was contacted by the original salesperson, and he asked me to provide the receipt that was on 09/22/23, I have never heard back from him, and I have sent him emails and called w/voice messages as recent as December 11,23.

My partner and I have been instructed not to make payments on the charge card (which I was not planning on till we were turned over to collections) we are now making payments on merchandise we never received and cannot get any help from Macy store, customer service or credit card company.

We are beyond frustrated if anyone at Macy's Oakland Mall would like to contact me or my partner please feel free to call, email you know who we are.

All I want is this charge of 1398.00 dollars removed from our credit card so that I may close it and never shop at Macy's again.
