Visiting Angels - Employee and client treatment

I have been in healthcare 20yrs and have never seen an agency care less about their caregivers or clients. Dont expect any word in your contract to be true because i can promise you its not, they dont care who they send you only that they put a body in your home and when you realize things missing or you just want to change caregivers you will be berated for asking. This company should be shut down for good its a real shame anyone can buy a franchise and not care about anything they say they do, this one is the worst.

The company in Longview doesn't care about their caregivers. If a client house is filty and they have dogs that poop on the floor and if the client is rude to you, and you say something back to them- You are the problem! You are called in and either fired or replaced with another worker. They send caregivers to a bad situation to replace the previous ones so the money can keep coming in to them. Sometimes one client may have had over 1/2 dozen or more caregivers because they are impossible to work for. They rather send caregivers to a bad situation instead of dropping the client so their money can keep rolling in. Before the Pandemic, no mileage was paid and very little bonus was offered, Only if they couldn't get anyone to work, then they offered bonuses. Kept sending people to the infected nursing homes. They offered masks, but we had to pick them up outside their door. Couldn't enter the office, but they had no problems sending caregivers to a virus -infected nursing home!.

The person that wrote the complaint above was fired for cause and they have lied in their complaint above to try and "punish" Visiting Angels for their decision to let her go. Visiting Angels has provided excellent care to thousands of clients for over 14 years and nobody is more concerned about taking great care of people.
