Today around 230pm my daughters and I went in to the store looking to buy several things. I had some coupons that we received on our previous visit. I wasn't sure what we could use them on so I walked around trying to see if I could find someone to help. One was on her phone talking and the others in the back. They looked at me but never offered help. One girl finally walked over and I asked her a question about the coupon. As she is looking at her phone for Johnnys pizza, she says yea. That wasn't even an answer to my question. Another came by and walked right by me not speaking. Finally the last came to the register and I asked if she was the manager. She said yes. I said I was trying to get someone to help me before we started shopping but one was on her cell and the other acted like we weren't even there! She kind of laughed and said well what did you need help with. Never apologized or even acted like she wanted to help. I told my girls to come and that we were leaving and would go to another store. The manager never even tried to make it better. We had been in the store before when my husband was with me and everyone was so nice! They almost over asked us if we needed help which was great! I've worked in corporate stores and I know how companies expect for employees and managers to act! I'm not saying it was for sure a racial thing but my husband is black and I am white. Our children are biracial. It's sad that he would have to come with me for us to even be able to receive respect from the staff. I really wanted to buy my girls some things in the store but I could not give my money to a store that treats people the way they did. I am VERY disappointed in how we were treated. I pray this company chooses to employ people who won't discriminate and who will be kind and respectful to all people!
