Purchased an Oil Change, refused two "upsales" to Best & then to Better explaining both times that my old car is not worth paying more than the minimum for the Good Oil Change. Final invoice was 50% about the published price so I asked why, and some adjustments removed some charges. Then I asked about the $1.54 Shop Supplies, and was told it was any of the things listed on a big, black & white sign listing too many things to read including gasket. Instead of arguing further, I just paid it since all this had gone on too ridiculously long. Obviously it still bothers me. Ken Towery is my go to for an oil change, they charge me the lowest price, do a good job, and never leave me feeling ripped off. Decided to try you because you're closer to home but is this level of hassle what I should normally expect topped off with some unexplanable cost to frost the deal ?
