Four Winds Casino Resort - Human resources department

After being hired at Four winds casino recently. I was told at the last minute I have to have a physical assessment for my position as janitor. I struggled on the last assessment of having to bend over on a treadmill for 5 minutes straight.

So I assumed everything was ok and that I passed the test. Monday morning 10/17/23 is my orientation, so I go to check in and my name isn't on the list, which was weird, so another girl come out to talk to me and says can I talk to you outside? I said sure. she said apparently I failed the bend over assessment physical. Here's why I'm complaining: I ask the girl why wasn't I notified of me not getting the position? she said are you sure you weren't notified and I said absolutely not 100%. She didn't know what to say, other then sorry and I said it's not your fault at all, but it was very unprofessional of whoever was supposed to let me know. In summary I was humiliated and embarrassed to say the least!. Not sure if I could work for a incompetent company. After going back to the recruitment center to find more out. I was apologized too but the damage was already done. This same day I get an email late night telling me I didn't get the position after the fact.

Desired outcome: I think a formal apology is in order from the tribal entities and possibly given a position that suits me physically and financially. I thought people with disabilities were suppose to get fair treatment!
