I just returned from my local Ace Hardware in Lafayette, Sunday morning, after store opened about 9 am. I had a list of items I needed. No one in the store offered to help me find my items, including the manager. I was able to find what I needed on my own.
Under the Corona virus 19 national emergency, it is understandable that your people did not help me. Okay, everyone is staying away from each other. I could have gotten some help even if it was from 6 feet away.
What I am mad about is the cashier was sick! He was sniffling and coughing while I was checking out. It one thing for the helpful hardware man not to help me, but insult to injury to have a sick cashier, under the current circumstances.
In the future I will only be returning to this store if I need specialty nuts and bolts hardware.
