My name is javonda craig,
I purchased breakfast and paid for it with a 20.00 bill on 08/27/19 at 7:08 am. When I got my change back I didn't notice the difference about the 10.00 bill, I knew it was a little beaten up which is not unusual. I didn't spend any more cash that day. So the next day which is today's date 08/28/19 I went to purchase a money order, and I used to 10.00 that was given to me and the cashier tells me that the bill is fake. He presented me with a receipt, I asked could I take it back he said no, that they had to report it.
He said to take the receipt and have them refund me my money. I called the store the manager tells me I should have brought it back yesterday. I explained it to her, she gives the phone to someone else and she tells me that they use a pen. No they do not!
If that was the case she would have checked the 20.00 bill. My money wasn't fake but theirs was. All I want is my money back. I know things happen. I know people can be mean. I promise that is not me, I just want my money. I should not loose out because your establishment was given a fake bill and then they passed it on to me. Ten dollars might not seems like a lot but it's a lot for me.
Please can we get my money refunded back to me. I have attached the receipt from your establishment and the currency exchange. The management team there need to work on their attitude. Everyone is not trying to get over. I am very offended about the way they handled this whole situation.
