Steak 'n Shake

yesterday 10/27/19 was at Steak n Shake at 109 Regency Pk Ofallon Illinois went in 2nd in line to be seated. Only couple of waitresses that were so busy on phone could care less on sitting us. One lady was clearing all the dirty tables. To make a long story short we left because after standing there for 15 min and being ignored! I see why a lot of these place are being [censored] down! Also my husband used restroom while there said it was the most dirty bathroom he has been in for a long time! get it together staff, clean care about your place you work at, care about customers! I would love to be mgr there and totally give the best service and cleanest place to eat at!

We went to steak & shake to eat after our movie time & when we got there, there we were the customers inside - as we ordered our drinks - they came - then we ordered our food which it took 30 minutes to recive our food as we have never ever waited that long for food. So there for this time there was not a pleasent visit as our waitree was good. Just dont understand why a 30 minute wait for our food after we placed the order. Id appriciate it of someone gets back to me on this

Horrible service. Location is not clean. The table to the right of us had a hair in their food. Food was not cooked well. This was the worst steak and shake experience I have ever had. I'm very surprised this location is still in business. Our waitress also had no clue how to properly handle food. She would hold milkshakes against her chest and let her fingers touch the food on our plate. Her name was Jessica. I wanted to summon the manager but after I watched the way he acted with the table beside us I figured there was no point since he barely cared or even spoke to the table. The cooks in the back were covered in grease. The manager was dripping sweat everywhere. I was scared to eat my food and Even more scared to send it back for fear of it getting tampered with. -1/10
