I ordered a leather couch off amazon. I received notofication that the delvery company (Spirit) had received it and would contact me in 48 hours to arrange adelivery time 08/15/13. By the afternoon of 8/19 I had not received call to arrange for delivery. I made 3 call over the next 2 days and finally received a delivery window of 1p-5p on 8/21 at 4:45 p on the day before delivery. On the date of delivery I arrrived home at 12:30p to find my leather couch on the porch. I can't move it. and it is supposed to rain. After multiple calls the manager Ashley assures me that she will have the guys come and move it to my garage. At 3p it hasN't been moved and now it looks like rain. I called Ashley and informed her of the situation. She assures me she will have someone out to move it ASAP. It never happened. I tried to call Ashley beginning @ 4:50p. All calls went straight to voicemail. I had to find my own help to move the couch to a safer location. Needless to say I have filed a complaint with the corporate office, the shipper and will post this on every message board I can find. I will never use Spirit Delivery again and if they are the delivery service used by a supplier I will forever in the future refuse the delivery!
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
I also had severe damage to my home by Spirit delivery, I spoke with Karena, now her phone just goes to voice mail. I am seeking legal actions as of tomorrow. I would like to find as many people as I can to start a class action against Spirit company. It’s time that they be accountable for these damages
Spirit delivery damaged my refrigerator. I'm wondering if your problem got resolved, I'm also thinking they need a Class Action suit.
I would also like to file a suit on them. This is the worst company.
