At or about 6:56 pm on June 2, 2020 I was visiting your retail store at 1705 Highway 138 Riverdale, Georgia. Upon retrieving a few items and making my way to the counter to check out, I encountered two of your employees, one was instructing the other that she needed to remain at the register because apparently from the conversation she kept walking away leaving it unattended and subject to security violations. This is where it got interesting; her leaving the register created a very long line (10) people, so I asked the customer behind me if she would hold my place, while I asked the other employee if she could assist with the line, being that it was getting very crowded, not to mention we're still dealing with a panademic. The employee proceed to get very unprofessional with me because I didn't address her by her name. I informed I would have if she had on a name badge that identified who she was. Also she informed me that the associate can call her if she needs her and she hadn't gotten a call. I placed the items I was purchasing on the shelf in front of her, and stated to her it's obvious that you don't care about customer service. I exited the store, but returned to get the store managers name and district manager which the associate on the register stated she didn't know. She gave me the name Chris. Rasheeda who I now know was the rude and unprofessional associated, stated she didn't care that I was asking for management. I am a retired customer service government employee of 33 years and this behavior does not reflect well of Dollar General.
