I went to the Wendy's drive thru on Saturday, June 4, 2022 around 6:30 pm. I placed my order and paid. This is the only words spoken to me besides taking my order, and I had not spoken to anyone except to give my order. I progressed to the pick up window and sat there for 5 minutes waiting. Finally a young girl came up wearing an alligator hat, handed me my order, and then two guys got in front of her looked at me and said, "You are a big goofy goober." I responded, "You can call me names but don't call me late for supper." I drove off. When I got home, 2 miles down the street, I ate the salad I always ordered on Saturday night and my wife ate her Chili and baked potato. We both got sick on the food. My wife already has serious abdominal issues, so this was especially hard on her. We don't know what kind of game they are playing and what they are putting in the food, but we don't consider this funny at all. The manager is never there so we can't directly put in a complaint with them. We will never eat there again. Because the experience has been so dramatic, we are considering a law suit against them for customer harassment.
Desired outcome: We would like a formal apology and a refund for our food. We would also like you to look at who was on staff that evening and write up or terminate those involved.
