Texas Roadhouse

Took my daughter and husband and my wife to dinner on sept 25 2023 and had a nice time until we paid our bill and was told by the server that I had to give a 20 % tip not the amount I put on the slip which I don't believe is the right thing to say to a customer then my daughter got out 20.00 and gave her this amount. I believe it's the customer right to give what they want not a server to tell you how much. My wife and I are seniors and live on a fix income and don't have alot of extra money and we gave what we could afford. I also called the manager a few days later and told him of my experience with this server and he told me his boss would be in touch with me which has never happened as of yet and asked for my email which I gave him and never received anything from this texas roadhouse. I don't think this is the way to treat your customers to tell them how much of a tip you must leave the servers name was liz and the roadhouse was at ocoee fl which I believe we will be going to longhorn steak house from now on thank you purl salyers
