My name is Hugo Paniagua and I'm deaf. I moved to Utah city from Reno Nevada, a few days ago and I did reservation Motel 6 Beaver UT and today too, and also, I paid for extend for another night, but the lady in front desk was very rude and yelled me for no reason. I'm communicate with them by wrote on the paper and out of nowhere the lady started yelling at me and cancelled my reservation then, she told me that her manager said he cancelled my reservation that was not going to be charged and yes, I did get charged from them. I have my bank account that showing processed, and it was paid so after I has been treated by them as of called my mother a homeless and tweaker.
I had already paid for reservations and constantly treating me with no disrespectful and I took a serious action but at the same time I keep myself cool, because I hate how they were already assumed about my mom is homeless or any names on my mother. I'm not really appreciated for their not professional, I'm current student for Western Nevada College in Carson City and my advice to motel 6 management, it's to take those employees out of there system or do something and they are just get a room for themselves for free and they don't to do nothing to work it out communicated with me then suddenly so cruel to customers. They should hire other people that are willing to exchange their cashier job for a professional position, and if I extended and pay for another day was because I'm really behind with my homework and so that's the main reason 0f why I already paid for extended room night. I'm also sent my mom a message with directions to get here but I forgot to send her the room number and I was so tired by the time my mom got there, I was fall asleep and didn't feeling my phone, so my mom went to the front office and spoke with guy in front desk.
I was very quiet, and I didn't understand her, so I'm requested her to please write it down for me to understand what she said. She got became very angry and didn't want to write it down. So, I'm carefully ask her repeated to please write it down, she got fed up with me and she called her manager about me. I just don't understand what I do wrong to her. I was very friendly and smile at her and she got bad attitude at me for no reason. She didn't like to write it down for me, so she had to because I keep told her to write on the paper for me.
Next day the manager sent me a few messages and that was disrespectful telling me about my mother and telling me that she was claimed to be your mom, she is either homeless or a tweaker, my mom has 2 jobs and worked hard, and she is not a homeless, my mother lives in Richfield. She was there to see me and not because she is homeless, and she was very cold outside like freezing and need get in a place to stay. I have all the messages of his text and the video recorded and I'm going to use them as evidence when I'm going to see my attorney because and I will be taking an action because hotels or any serious business should never treat like that to customers with that kind of names and to my mother too. I do really like and love any motel 6 because I'm more comfortable anywhere Motel 6. They are there to make people feel comfortable and welcome.
I hope you understand this situation. I will be happy to hear from you soon.

Motel 6 - Harassment from employees and guest
Hello,
I am contacting you, in regards to my experience at your location at 1345 4th St. N.E. Washington, D.C. 20002. The original confirmation number given was GD3TWHEYWT, for the nights of March 09th, 10th, and 11th, 2020.
I am asking to be refunded the amount of $370.00. Plus, All names involved with the Harassment.
I have contacted the Motel 6 Hospitality "Complaint # 1489611" and received a check for $60.34, the check was to cover a refund of two nights of the (Motel 6 Veterans Discount) and half of the night of March 11, 2020. I have not cashed the check. BUT, as you see, the math is not correct. This would have been correct if I had only paid the $89.00 per night, instead, of $104.00. So, I contacted Motel 6 Hospitality again and was informed that the check was for half off from the night of March 09, 2020. Now, I never requested to receive half off for March 09th, 2020.
Reasons;
1. I have not received the (MOTEL 6 Veterans Discount) for the 3 nights, the evening manager informed me that, "he did not wish to change my reservation, due to the commission that the other employee received from my reservation?". (Same manager that could not get my door open on the night of March 11, 2020)
2. The price per night was originally $89.00, for some reason I had been charged $104.00 per night?
3. The Veterans of Foreign Wars/Disabled American Veterans, (Hugh Reid & Kenneth Teutsch along with the Johnson Family) were allowed to harass me while I stayed at your facility. Example, How my key lock pad would not work after I had returned to my room (room 104, on the night of March 11, 2020) My two dogs were locked in the room. Your manager did mention that he was not involved with the issue (The game to Anger me). Then, the manager asked me to move to an upstairs room, knowing that I wished to have a downstairs room. Again, I am a Disabled Veteran.
I was forced to moved to another room which I did not feel safe (room 115). I requested to be placed in a downstairs room that was close to the Motel office, please check my notes.
4. Room 104, The bathtub had a dip in the middle of the flooring, which allowed water to stand in the middle of the bathtub. So, I was forced to stand in water, while I showered. And the renters above that room, made sure that they jumped around when I would be sleeping.
5. Room 115, The floors were not cleaned before I had been placed in the room around 1830 on March 11, 2020. The floors under the beds were dirty and I found a used condom on the floor. Also, the bathtub had a clog in the drain, so I had to shower with standing water, and continue to turn the water flow off while soaped down. I did leave this room at 4am on March 12, 2020. I could not relax in this room, the door was hidden by a staircase and I heard people outside of the room door talking all night. Someone wanted my attention?
6. My 92 year-old grandmother was harassed while I was in Washington D.C., the facility in which she had to stay at, failed to check her blood sugar for four days. My grandmother was found unconscious on the morning of March 11, 2020, which is the same day that I had my Veterans Appeal Board and the same day that your employees locked myself out of room 104, where my two dogs were stuck in for over six hours. Due to the games, my dogs were forced to be locked in a motel room for over six hours. My grandmother was almost murdered and the facility was not charged with any crimes, but somehow there facility was given an total upgrade on the building? I could retain an attorney and come after your motel for more money, but I just want the full refund for my stay and the names of the individuals in which paid your employees to harass me.
Thank you
Michael McCoy
I have not cashed the your check for the $60.34. Which means your attempt to cheat a Disabled Veteran with PTSD, had failed. No agreement if I do not cash! Yes, since our last chat, I have been awarded PTSD. That might look bad in court. See you soon
Yes, due to the games played, I was granted my 100% Disability Rating.

Hello,
This is in regards to my stay at your location of 1345 4th St. NE. Washington, D.C. 20002.
My Original Confirmation number is GD3TWHEYWT, on March 9, 2020 thru March 12, 2020.
My concerns are, I was not offered a Veteran discount. As you will notice, I did state that I am a Disabled Veteran when I made my reservation online. I had also stated that I am a Disabled Veteran when I called the location to request to be placed in a ground level room and that I prefer a room close to the Motel Office. (due to paranoia and previous harassments at different locations. When I checked into the reservation on March 9, 2020, I had also stated that I am a Disabled Veteran, I then asked if I could receive the Veteran discount. The staff member stated that, he did not want to change the amount. Due to commission for someone else?
Also, I was placed in room 104, this was a nonsmoking room, The bathtub has a sunken floor which water would stand in the center without draining completely. I was in this room until around 1830 on March 11, 2020, at that time the key cards could not open the door to the room. The staff member had been required to open the room with a master key. I then was forced to move from room 104, I did not feel comfortable with moving away from the office. The staff member tried to move me to a upstairs room, even though I had stated that I am a Disabled Veteran. I was then placed in room 115, ground level, Smoking room (No ventilation in room) I do not smoke. This room was hidden by a staircase, so I did fear that my room could be entered by others when I was not in it. The room floor had not been swept, I had located a used condom next to the bed frame. In room 115, the bath drain was clogged, so as I would shower, the water would continue to fill up in the tub.
I would like to request a refund for the night of 3/11/20, and a Veteran Discount for the nights of 3/9/20 and 3/10/20.
I have made a complaint on 3/13/20, Complaint #1489611
Thank you
Michael McCoy
Desired outcome: Full refund for my stay
