We have become known as complainers and a burden to the KinderCare center located on House Street In Glastonbury CT. We have remained with the facility for the duration we did expecting improvement and hoping for better care as our child does have friends there and some of the teachers are trustworthy. We have communicated directly with the local Center Director, Nicole Botticello who we have found to be very immature in our dealings so we moved to the regional Director, Nicole Patrone who has failed to offer any resolution as well.
Our son has incurred in excess of the 17 Injury reports which are attached since he began attendance in September 2015. We have picked him up to new bumps and facial bruises to be told we dropped him off like that. I addressed lead paint concerns which were never resolved, requested water test results and was denied as well as results of Radon testing and IAQ tests for mold or bacteria. The center is in disrepair as can be seen by torn carpet and the worrisome teeth marks and chipped paint on various doors, cabinetry and other items throughout the center.
The most recent concern which we are still investigating is a bruise to my sons left eye as well as a laceration to his nose in an incident that on the day of was not seen because his "substitute" teacher for the day was distracted by a diaper change in progress but by the following Monday the story was clear and the "Corporate" talk was prevalent. We were told it was "not bad" and treated with ice and TLC over the phone the day of. I left work anyhow as I was concerned and we ended up taking him to the doctor due to the severity of the injury and to alleviate any possible internal or lasting damage. The pictures are attached
