We went to the Joe's crab shack in Aurora, Co. it was 8:35 pm. The place had 6 other patrons in the restaurant. We had to wait 10 minutes just to be seated.. once seated, we waited yet another near 15 minutes before the rude young lady came over. Wanted to know why I was upset I said, we've been sitting here almost 15 minutes, "well I'm here now, what do you want". I asked for the manager, she said "I am the manager". I said, I would think to keep your customers, you would bend over backwards to make them happy after waiting so long. She got snotty and threw us out and saidWe don't serve "service dogs either"
Desired outcome: Training on ADA and wait staff on how to speak to your customers..customers don't care how long they had to work that day nor do they care they are short handed. I want an apology
I tried to complain to the restaurant manager about having to wait so long when there were so few patrons. Manager got upset when I suggested she may want to take better care of her customers. She got butt hurt and threw us out. Saying "we have feelings" customers don't care how many hours they had to work, nor that they are short handed. That's not your customers problem. Plus saying they don't serve service dogs is a violation of ADA and my civil rights.
