Burger King - price

when I went to the drive thru last to get what I thought would be to $5 whopper combo but to my surprise my bill came out to $16.84. This is for just 2 whoppers onion rings and 1 iced coffee. When I asked about the combo special I was told that this location is ran by corporate and is not a franchise. Is this true? I was hoping to get 2 combos but I ended up paying $6.19 just for the whopper by itself which is obviously more money than the combo is. The whopper, onion rings and iced coffee came out to $9.19 and thats both the coffee and the onion rings being larges. I am about to go back to that location because I am almost positive I saw the advertisement in the window for the combos. I did in fact see the mix and match promo.I went through the drive thru on 08/07/2019 at 10:29pm
