Red Lobster - Stolen money

My Name is Linda Beltran

I just had lunch with a friend there at the restaurant, and there was an incident that happened , and it was not taken care of in a professional manner. 1pm ( the waitress was misty or something like that, and she was short with dark brown hair pulled up in a pony tail. and the ends of her hair and she had blonde highlights ant the ends of her hair. )

When the waitress brought the bill It was $55 , So I place a $50 Bill and a $20 for the bill and the rest of it as a tip. in about 3-4minutes the waitress comes back and tells me that it was only $40. So I said No, i know what I put a $50 dollar bill in the wallet with the receipt. SO then I said hmm , so she says ill be back ,so then she leaves .

So I then I told my friend I know I put the $50 in that wallet, something isnt right here. So then I put 3=$20 ($60)bills and 2=$5 ($10)bills.

SO then the waitress comes and takes the check etc, then in 3-4 minutes a different waitress comes back to my table with the wallet and says your missing a $20

(FIRST OF ALL WHY DID SHE SAY IM MISSING A $20) Was it because that's what the first waitress told her?

I then told her NO ,thats not right, My friend saw what I put in this wallet, and also with the $50 dollars I had put, . My friend tells her yes I saw her put the $20's and the 2=$5 dollar bills in there.

I then asked her to call the first waitress to come over, because I wanted to talk to her, then she she says I cant do that(which tht didnt make sense to me).

So then I asked this waitress to call the manager for me. A few minutes later a man came over that looked like a cook with a shirt and a black apron that was all dirty , I asked are you the manager( cause he looked more like a cook)? And he says yes. (he didn't have a name tag on, and i was upset, and didnt ask his name, I just started to tell him what was happened

Then he says to me No he wouldn't do anything like that , I have known her family for 25 years and I don't believe she would do anything like that etc.

So I ask him to call her over so that I would hear it from her of what I was missing etc. And he tells me NO I don't need to call her over. ( So that didn't sound right to me either. )

SO this so called manager at the end says, so what do i need to do here. )So I told him well first of all you can put the $20 dollars that that waitress took, you can put that into this wallet and there the bill is payed. Then he walks away.

This was done wronfully, nit talking to this waitress etc. and everything just brushed under the carpet, because thats what seemed lie it to me. I Always go to this restaurant anf have NEVER had anny issues, UNTIL today.. This will be the last time I GO THERE...

WHo ever is reading this , really need to pay attention if there have been other people complaining about this certain person, or things going on like this.. Happened here::Red Lobster 2283 w March Lane Stockton ca 95207

Desired outcome: Check into this place and see if this has happened to other customers, and deal with those people that are doing this..
