Penske Truck Rental - Van rental
The business gave me a truck rental, and I paid for their insurance. I turn it in. Months later, I got mail claiming I owed $12,000+ on a new truck. This is a scam.
I used their truck for a business situation where I ran a running event.
As far as I understand, I turned the truck in on the final day of renting with no problems.
They're trying to charge me for a new truck. This business has performed this scam before on someone else. I will not let them use me.
Claimed loss: They keep calling me and stating I owe them. I tried to talk 4 different level managers to resolve the issue. All they tell me is to pay what I owe. They never showed me what damage was “caused”.
Desired outcome: Stop their nonsense. I don’t owe them a penny. Also, stop trying to scam people.
