I stopped by around 8:30 pm as a last minute grocerie stop as I work as a teacher around this neighborhood.
I asked one of the ladys that was on her cell phone having a conversation by the way during her shift, if she could please possibly help me get a cereal box from the top shelf that was out of my reach? She then looked at me rolled her eyes and continued her conversation at that point with another employee. I was so furious that She rolled her eyes at me, I asked her if she worked there, because the only reason I asked her for help was because I noticed she was wearing a 99 cents shirt! I simply asked her for help and she said "she was not the manager and was not authorized to bring anything off the top shelves & continued her conversation"!
At that point I asked for a supervisor and another lady came and said she was the manager on duty and I explained to her how her fellow employee acted and she simply said oh ok what do you need from the shelf? I was in disbelief, no apology nothing! I feel like this 99 cents store needs a new team or some customer service training ASAP! I usually shop at the clairemont location in san diego and its nothing compared to this one.. J literally got in my car and left crying of how upset I was and the way I was treated!
