The Cheesecake Factory

First, I absolutely love the cheesecake factory. I went to the first cheesecake factory about 40 years ago in chicago. I hate mushrooms and when my daughter's chicken madeira was put in front of her I almost died seeing all the mushrooms. She insisted that I take a bite and of course I declined with the mushrooms going on. She said to me, "oh for god sake just push them aside... Which I did and for the first time in my life I tasted heaven. For the last 40 years i've ordered nothing but chicken madeira in your establishment. My wonderful chicken madeira was served and it looked nothing like what i've seen for years. There were the usual 2 pieces of chicken with cheese and 2 asparagus and madeira sauce... No mushrooms. How they left that plate leave the kitchen is beyond me. One piece of chicken was perfect the other one was something that you would throw aside. It was gnarly and awful presentation. There absolutely no cheese melted on the top of the chicken. To make sure I scratched the entire chicken with my knife... Nothing. Very little madeira sauce. However there were 2 asparagus sitting on the top. The mashed potatoes were beyond exception…. Delicious! My husband meal was great. The service was great... Could not complain about that department.
