Western Dental Services

My son and I went to Western Dental in Manteca, Ca. for our regular checkup and cleaning. They wanted us both to have deep cleanings, but we got them to just do a normal cleaning. They told my son that he had 19 cavities of which I did not believe for he had just 6 months before had a perfect dental checkup and always had. They had him come in to fill teeth on two separate times one side at a time. After they filled one side the next day some of the fillings fell out and he went back to have them refilled. Fillings on both sides over and over again fell out a total of about 6 times on both sides. One tooth they had drilled on and refilled so many times that it crumbled and destroyed the tooth and they had to pull it. He also kept having pain after the fillings and went back and they then said he needed 7 root canals and crowns of which his insurance would not pay for. He had no problems with any of his teeth before Western Dental worked on him. Now it has been two years and two of his fillings have fallen out again and he is in severe pain. He went to another dentist here in Manteca and she said he needed only three root canals and crowns, but she could only do root canals and not the crowns. She said if he wanted them pulled he would also have to be referred to another dentist to extract the teeth for she does not pull teeth. What kind of dentist does not do crowns or pull teeth? He really does not know who to believe about the treatment he needs Western Dental saying he needs 7 root canals and crowns and the other dentist saying he needs only 3 root canals and crowns. He does not know what to do and where to go to get the treatment he needs. Also, Western Dental when cleaning my teeth chipped the enamel on one of my teeth. When I told them what they had done they denied it was chipped. You could see the chip and I could feel it. I kept telling them I was having pain from the area it was chipped and they said I needed a root canal and a crown in a tooth that did not have any problems prior to my cleaning at Western Dental. Mine and my son's insurances will not pay for the teeth that needs the root canals and crowns. I feel they have destroyed our teeth.
