I don't like complaining about any of your stores as you have good employees in general. I just stepped out of Store # 200, in Prescott, AZ on Willow Creek Road. I'd purchased 4 DVDs. I'd made sure there was a DVD in each case before going to the register. One had 2 DVD's inside. I'm assuming it was donated that way. The price tag tells me that that is how it was put on our your shelf.
Unusual for me not to remember the cashiers name but she opened each one up and said something to the effect that you can't have this extra DVD. "That is what the price tag says and that is what I'm paying for," I responded. She insisted and simply replied, "No problem I'll file a complaint with corporate."
Its the principal of the matter that bothers me here. Then she turned around and said, "I'll call a manager." I instantly replied, "I don't want a manager." What does she go and do, she pages a manager. She tried to stall for time, but I left.
I'm not asking for a response here. Like I said I know a lot of your staff in many Goodwill stores and have done for years.. Once in a while as humans we get into differences with someone. But come on, this was donated to your store for free to begin with.
Very poor ethics if you want my input.
Desired outcome: No outcome, I just want this ridiculous situation to be noted by corporate.
