To whom this may concern, Latanya M., is the store manager of Dollar General in Vincent, AL, she has been bullying her staff and sending text messages of falsely accusing them of doing things and states that she views the camera is how she comes up with information. Latanya writes up employees to try and scare staff at the job. Dollar general could be a better place and work environment if the manager would be a manager instead of a bully. She expects everyone to do work and she don't do anything but sit in the office or either complain about something staff is doing wrong. The store manager is suppose to teach staff not knock them down.
The freight has been on the floor and in the stock room for months and have not been able to clear it out because A team can not be a team without a Great lead (Store Manager). The store manager should be the number 1 person that any employee or customer can go to about anything that could help make the working environment better.
Dollar general in Vincent, AL could be a great place for customers to shop but they cant shop like they want because shelves are empty, they aren't able to walk up and down the aisles at the store because they are scared they would fall and hurt themselves. Dollar General in Vincent, AL is a unsafe environment for customers and staff. It could be better organized.
Customers should not have to complain to staff about things in the store or because the Store manager is unpleasant. They don't want to say anything to her because of her attitude even when speaking to her she may speak and may not speak to a customer.
Desired outcome: I would like for the Store manager to be more productive in working with staff and stop texting everything because that is very unprofessional. A meeting should be called with all staff if there are any issues on the job.

DG cut payroll hours for all their stores. The hours were cut in half or more. The staff aren't lazy, just overwhelmed. The trucks keep coming if it is needed or not.
