Huddle House - Restaurant

I ordered online and I marked curbservice (they have a big sign in front also). When I got there I tried to call and let them know that I was there, they would not answer phone. After several attempts I finally went in and picked up order (my order was $35), whenI got home (which was like 5 miles away) the bacon was more than half raw, eggs were over cooked to the point that they were rubbery. I ask for district manager # employee had to call manager becasue she didnt know it. Manager wanted to speak to me on a public rather than give me the #. Manager would not give # she just kept asking what the problem was in a very sarcastic tone.

Huddle House - manager

My name is Kathryn [censored] I have recently quit serving from huddle house due to Marlene the district manager. While working at huddle house Marlene was rude, and disrespectful to me and my other coworkers. During my interview process I put on my application to become a cook, when filling out paper work Marlene assigned me to a serving job even though signs outside said ( hiring all positions) at which point I proceeded to inform her that I had high anxiety of serving and that I had no experience. During my first week at huddle house Marlene asked me to pushback my headband because "it makes you look like an Indian egghead". I was never properly trained and have never had any previous experience in serving. I was often left alone to learn on my own. Marlene would constantly raise her voice at me from across the store while customers where eating. The day I quit I arrived at huddle house for my shift at 8am on 09/06/2019 when I walked into the building nobody was in the store except for Marlene, nothing was done or made up in the store. I had arrived to work in the middle of an anxiety attack and once noticed I would be all alone for the day serving by myself while I was still in training it became much worse. I asked Marlene three times if she was going to call an other servers to help me which She responded with " no the next servers come in at 2pm." Marlene was constantly messing up orders, getting table numbers wrong and yelling at me through out the day. When I was personally handed a tip from a customer which she said " I see your here alone" (she handed me the tip) "your doing a great job, keep it up." Marlene privately came up to me and asked if I was taking tips, I responded "yes" she then proceeded to say " your getting paid minimum wage you cannot accept tips. I then responded with "I am the only server and I'm still in training, I can't do this alone I'm having an anxiety attack, can you call someone to help?" She said "no" at which point I took care of one last customer and told her "I am leaving I can't do this alone I'm not ready." The short time I did work at huddle house Marlene was constantly rude and belittling towards me, made it known she had favorites and was no help during my training process.
