Unlimited Vacation Club and Hyatt review: Hyatt points earned during my stay

My wife and I upgraded our UVC membership over a year ago. One of the biggest reasons for us was that Hyatt was acquiring UVC and their resorts. We received Hyatt points upon upgrading and then would earn additional points as we used the UVC/ Hyatt membership on vacations or Hyatt stays.

We have traveled about 8 times since and 2 of this times received our Hyatt points without any effort on out part. The other ones have been a challenge to get the Hyatt points. We traveled to Zoetry in Mexico beginning of September this year and as of today still have not been given our points. I have called, emailed and complained in person at least 10 times now in the past 3 months. I have been told everything from Hyatt and UVC that "it takes 7 weeks","its been escalated", "its too new and hard for them" and that "I need to provide them a paid bill from the resort."

We book online and get a confirmation number. We have no paid invoice or bill from anyone. Hyatt says the confirmation numbers isn't enough. I have sent them emails from their resorts saying they can not provide me a bill as there isn't one. No one will resolve this for us. I have made certain that our Hyatt number is on our check in documents and check out documents every time since the first struggle. I have even asked to tell me how to book trips in the future so I would have to deal with this. No response and no one knows but after paying money for something we are the ones getting shorted and not receiving what we paid for and were promised.

Desired outcome: Would like the points I earned and for this not to be a reoccurring issue for us

My wife and I upgraded our UVC membership about a year ago with the understanding that Hyatt had acquired the club and its resorts. We got Hyatt points for our upgrade and are supposed to receive Hyatt points with each UVC stay that we pay for. Seems pretty straightforward and clear and a benefit to us. We have traveled approximately 5 times since and had to literally hound Hyatt for our earned points for 2 of the stays. We did receive those but took work. One of our last stays was at Zoetry in Mexico in September of this year. I have at least attempted to contact UVC and Hyatt 8 times about this. It’s been escalated, apparently deescalated and back and forth. Hyatt says they need a paid bill from the resort. The resort won’t give us one as we book online with our membership sign on for our discount and only get a confirmation number for the trip. That’s not enough for Hyatt and this just goes on and on. I will say that 1 out of 5 go right and we get our points. We can get no help on this from either a Hyatt or UVC. We’ve complained to both and both say this is too new and the others issue while we paid for something we have earned are not being given as promised. I have begun sorting down and logging who I take to and times as this is becoming ridiculous to me
