Hello,

In July of 2022 I called to sign up for Ultra Home Internet 5g LTE home wifi service. I had just moved out into a rural part of town and do not have many options for wifi, and working from home I needed it asap. When I called they informed me that I do infact get the 5G LTE wifi service in my rural area and that is what I signed up for. The service is 124.99 a month and the router that I have to pay for is $599.99 which I chose to pay for with monthly installments which include interest which brings the total amount to about $750.00.

After two months of testing the internet, it was determined that it is not fast at all, I could not even load a 3-minute song on my phone without it having to buffer. I called to cancel my service and to return the very expensive router and have the loan removed from my name. I was told since it is out of the 15 day return policy that there was nothing they could do and I was stuck paying for the router and they would not reimburse me for that or the monthly service. I asked them to please provide me proof in which I have ever received this 5G LTE wifi service, and they could not. The floor supervisor informed me that there has been an outage in my area and was unable to tell me for how long there has been an outage and when the outage would be resolved. From there I made it clear that since I have never received the service in which I was sold, that I should not have to continue paying for a router that does not work as it is intended. She informed me that there was nothing she could do. After multiple phone calls she stated there was NO ONE above her that could assist me or that I could speak to and that I was stuck paying for the router. She hung up on me after our most recent call.

Desired outcome: To have the loan with Affrim for the router removed from my name and credit. I will happily return the router so it can be re-used

Well at lease you can sell the router and get some money back, we were told we would be refunded for router and was sent a return label to send ours back, they received router (and was signed for) over a month ago, and we never got a refund.
