My parents received a postcard for a complementary 7 day cruise on Carnival from Ultimate Executive Travel. They had to attend a 90 minute presentation in Long Beach, CA in order to pick up the "promotional gifts." Then they paid $248.00 in the form of a cashier's check, $99 per person for port fees and taxes and another non-refundable $50 reservation fee. When my parents told me about their "free" cruise, my husband looked them up on-line and discovered many complaints here on The Complaints Board. We read that this company was a fraud and that there were many other fees and charges along with limitations on cruises and dates and destinations, so I called them to ask for a refund for my parents.
I called [protected] and asked for a supervisor and got Chuck. He RUDELY said, "Read the terms and conditions, no where does it say there's a free cruise" and "Nothing in America is free" and "I don't know if there will be more fees, that’s between you and the cruise line.” He said I was “a crazy lady” and “didn’t know how to read or follow instructions.”
I explained that I researched their company on-line and that I read a lot of complaints about them. He replied, “Who are these people? Did you talk with them?” How could I talk with people who left complaints on-line? Then he threatened me. Chuck said, “I’m going to put all of YOUR information on-line.” What legitimate business says things like that?!?
He yelled that he was going to void my parents’ cruise. I kept insisting that I wanted their money back. Then he said I needed to write a letter requesting the money back, but the $50 processing fee was non-refundable and of course reminded me that was in the terms and conditions. When I asked for his last name, he refused it give it to me. Then I’m not sure if he hung up on me or if we got cut off. When I called back, I received his receptionist who still would NOT give me Chuck’s last name. I will write the letter to them in hopes of getting some part of my parent’s money back and will contact the BBB.
travel agency has to be bonded in the state of Calif., and that you can seek a full refund be sending them a letter and copies of your documentation including a reciept for your check or money order.

I love how Northeastphillyramon put that Chuck is a great guy with a *great family (< that is the ONLY correct portion of the above comment) ... REALLY, that comment is either from the one and only [censored] bag himself who has inappropriate relationships with girls half his age or a "friend". There is a reason that his companies always have a revolving door of employees : STAY AWAY ... FAR AWAY!
I have done business with these people and went on a great cruise. I live near there in the northeast, I think he is a great guy and has a great family! He is not changing his name, he just owns all three companies!
What a joke. Glad I m not at that scam anymore. Only a matter of time before the government steps in. You just keep changing your name and keep ripping people off. Sorry

YOU SHOULD ALSO CONTACT THE CRUISE LINES DIRECTLY (ask the specifically how much port charges and government taxes and fees are)

Mrs. Kelly Maguire is merely an employee at the said travel agency, and is most certainly not married to any Chuck (Charles) or any other person involved with any of the said travel agencies, she is married to a truck driver that is getting very irritated at ###s who think there getting something for free. When was the last time any of you idiots got anything for free? This is America capitalism rules this country, that means you can't take a ### for free. In other words if you spent less time tryin to get something for nothing and went to work you could pay for your cruise and get on your merry ###ing way.

The owner of the company has opened up another travel agency; he uses several names for the business. Ultimate Executive Travel and Get Outta Town Travel. He does not use any computers as all travel agencies do, he only uses paper files, and it is easier to dispose of when the authorities finally catch him. He and his wife are a team; their names are Charles (Chuck Maguire and Kelly Maguire. Address is 1903 Grant Avenue Philadelphia PA 19115. Phone [protected] fax [protected].email addresses are: chuck@ugetouttatowntravel.com and Keelly@ugetouttatowntravel.com. Chuck tells people that he is not a travel agent; he says that he is the owner and tour guide. They have a store front and a large office set up, but no travel brochures. He has advertised on craigslist Philadelphia to hire travel agents and tells them that he is a license travel agent for eight months; also that he does a lot of business in California. He states that he works with many cruises lines, though he is NOT CLIA certified to sell them. The office does not have any qualified people to sell travel; he has a woman that works there that is very unprofessional, extremely rude as she wears very unprofessional clothing that is five sizes to small and likes to show off her tattoos. They seem to move around from state to state, their phone recording is from a cruise agency that had been located at this address for many years. That company moved from this address over 3 years ago. Someone needs to stop Charles, Chuck to his friends and his scamming wife Kelly from stealing from travelers.
