Tudum.co Review: A Scam Subscription Service to Avoid at All Costs

I recently signed up for a bicycle rental service on Nantucket through Tudum.co, which was supposed to be free, and I was only supposed to be charged when I rented a bike. However, I was in for a rude shock when I received a notification that I had a free 5-day trial period, after which they would start charging my card $39.95/month! They claimed that I could cancel my subscription if I did it within the 5-day trial period.
I immediately tried to cancel my subscription, but I was unable to log in with the email and password I had created. Later, I received a "purchase confirmation" that included a completely unrelated and random login name that had nothing to do with how I signed up. To my surprise, the confirmation email referenced the full password I had created! I was under the impression that passwords were supposed to be invisible to everyone, including the website's staff. However, it appears that Tudum.co makes passwords completely accessible.
When I finally managed to log in with the new login information they had provided, I found that I needed to call them to cancel my subscription. However, when I called, I received a message saying that they were currently closed and that I should go to the website ABHelpline.com. Upon further investigation, I discovered that ABHelpline.com is a similar scam that also charges your card $39.95 monthly. Tudum.co also provided a supposed contact link to send them a message, but it didn't actually complete the sending process when I hit send.
Overall, my experience with Tudum.co has been terrible. The website's lack of transparency and accessibility is concerning, and their customer service is non-existent. I would advise anyone to stay away from Tudum.co and any other websites that offer similar subscription services. It's always better to be safe than sorry!
