Cannot add a review for this company they were absolutely horrible did everything wrong maybe wait forever 8 months for the building and then to add insult the doors on the building were screwed up I made them replace them the building was all scratched and multiple locations I asked them to send me pens to repair them they didn't I told them I would pay the lineup final payment when I got the pens and they put a lean on my building instead of just fixing the problem this is a horrible company the reviews are horrible don't use them no matter what you do any other company will be better than them I promise you and I believe the owner is a drunk who just stays at home till mid afternoon barely ever comes to work and forget trying to get a call from him he's an absolutely worthless barely comes to work no doubt in my mind about that do not I repeat do not use this company for anything even a freaking shed

Signed a contract with Big Buildings Direct, LLC ("BBD") recently for a building agreeing to pay for applicable permitting, only to uncover the following scam. BBD collaborates with Tubular Building Systems, LLC ("Tubular") for installation. However, Tubular refuses to allow the building permit to be filed with the county. Instead, they insist that the buyer must use a "Permit Expeditor" to sign on their behalf. Tubular, in turn, contracts with The Permit Tech to sign on their behalf. Shockingly, the buyer is then required to pay $400 to The Permit Tech just to obtain Tubular's signature on the building application. Without this signature, the buyer is unable to file the building permit. I confronted the individuals involved in this scheme, including *** of BBD, ***, the owner of Tubular, and ***, the owner of The Permit Tech, regarding their conspiracy to extort $400 from consumers for a completely unnecessary service - obtaining a simple signature for an exorbitant fee. Unfortunately, they showed no willingness to rectify the situation. While I was prepared to pay the permit filing costs as per the contract with BBD, I did not agree to bear unnecessary expenses to support such a deceitful conspiracy. Since BBD was obligated to obtain the signature of their chosen subcontractor, Tubular, but failed to do so, they have clearly breached the contract, leading me to withdraw from the agreement. I strongly caution others to be wary of this unscrupulous collusion.

Tubular Building Systems is one of the best in the entire industry for quality and service. I have dealt with them numerous times and above all, I appreciate their honesty and integrity that is the culture of their organization. I highly recommend them!

Omar and his crew install my carport today 4/1. They did an great job. Carport looks great. They cleaned the area when done. Andy, Krisy and Phill where very helpful. After I told them I have my permit, it took 2 weeks and the carport was installed. Would recommend this company for any building needs.

Purchased our building in July . It was a bit of a wait due to the construction industry being behind on materials. Construction began on 10/21 and completed days later. Overwhelming happy with the job they did. Working in the construction industry I understand how it goes. Would definitely recommend them to all.

After waiting several weeks for my carport to be installed, I called and spoke with Don about the delay, he basically told me that he's going to cancel my installation and rudely hung up on me with no further explanation. I had to hire another company to do my installation. Don is the most unprofessional, short fused person I have ever met... Stay away from this company!

The Monster Man Cave/Garage is complete and I could not be happier! The installers went above and beyond, they showed up when they said, and worked until it was done. They were crazy fast, friendly and professional. I would recommend these guys to any and everyone that wants/needs a ManCave/Garage. So much fun and productivity will happen in here. It is 30x60 with 2 12x12 rollers, 3 windows, a 12x12x30 lean-to and an entry door.

Worst company I have ever been involved with! I ordered a building in April it is almost September they have my deposit but I have no building. I keep calling but all I get is liars not anyone with answers if you deal with Tubular Building Systems or their representatives get ready for the lies because that's all they know. MY attorney says we can sue for the deposit plus legal fees and any cost over the original sales price when I hire a different contractor to put up the building, guess that's what we will do. STAY AWAY FROM THESE LIARS

Everything about TBS is top notch,Don and Phillip helped me make changes to the placement of my doors,and gave me an accurate estimation of my delivery date, which was several longer than the dealers estimation. Mike and his crew worked nonstop for over six hours in the hottest time of the day with such attention to detail that was truly impressive. the thing that sold me on a TBS building is that they don't use subcontractors to install there buildings. In this day it was a pleasure to see a business that takes pride in it's company from top to bottom. I will gladly recommend them to my family and friends.

After reading these reviews, I felt like I had to chime in. My 24 x 36, 10 foot tall metal building is probably the best made building on my property. It was erected more than a year ago and I am totally satisfied with it. I don't remember the workers names, but they were very courteous, thorough, and cleaned up after themselves. It was a very hot summer day and they obviously earned their pay that day. The building was purchased thru the Superior Sheds dealer, where I have purchased 8 other buildings, and I could not have asked for an easier deal. Superior and Tubular did what they said they would do, and I have no complaints. I will be doing business with this company in the future.

Working with Tubular Building Systems has been such a pleasure. Don Smith communicated very well. The building was delivered within the specified time frame. The price was great! The crew arrived this morning and worked very hard continuously throughout the day with very little break time. They are master craftsmen and did a most spectacular job constructing the building on site. I was truly impressed and pleased to see these young men working so hard. It is refreshing to say they take pride in their work. Our Carport/Shed/Lean To has definitely exceeded our expectations. The construction and materials are superior. I would highly recommend Tubular Building Systems to those of you considering a new building...Carport/Shed/Lean To!

I will say up front that the actual crew that came to build our $20,000 shed and car port were very professional and respectful of our property. My problem is with the owner of this company, he was called with a question about the height of the braces and was immediately rude, threatening to have them tear down the almost completed building. He was very disrespectful and hung up twice on us. After the crew chief spoke to him they finished the building and then demanded to be paid in full. We said it needed to pass inspection first because of the rude and uncalled behavior from earlier and didn't trust that they would come and do any necessary revisions if needed. We ended up holding back 10% until inspection was passed but not without being called disrespectful liars and all sorts of names. We have never been treated this way before and would not want anyone else to be either so definitely WOULD NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

On June 1, I paid $1229 as a deposit on my metal carport. At that time, I was told it would be delivered in 6 weeks. Which is the only reason I ordered and paid the deposit. I asked twice before leaving how long it would be and was assured I would have my building in 6 weeks. After 4 weeks, I called to see if we had an estimated date since it was now, what should have been, only 2 weeks until delivery. I was told that they should have never said 6 weeks, they should have told me 10 -12 weeks and they they would contact me in about 6 more weeks to set up delivery. I contacted my sales rep who said that the girl was new and she gave me incorrect information and that I was still on schedule. I did this all through Tubular Building Systems so I would have everything in writing. Today, I called to see if I could get someone else on the phone, other than the new girl, and was told that the order hasn't even been sent to them from ***'s Portable buildings 211 yet and that it would be 10 weeks from the time they send the order over. ***'s Portable Buildings and Tubular Building Systems say something different each time you contact them. This company is misleading consumers who pay a lot of money to them.

Our complaint is directly about John Smith, owner of TBS (Tubular Building Systems). You can reach him at [protected]@tbs.com. He is also known as John Doe and operates under the name John Smith Roofing. We purchased a metal building from TBS and had it installed on our property. However, during the installation process, the workers who were installing the metal roof sheets caused significant damage to the roof. They walked on the sheets of metal, resulting in large bends and damaged material. As a result, the roof now has several large leaks. We have pictures of the damaged building, which we promptly shared with John Smith via email. We also visited TBS to obtain a copy of the building's plans, but unfortunately, we were met with hostility and anger from John Smith and his staff. We have video footage of this incident as well. The building has numerous issues where there should be sealed areas, and despite our attempts to address the situation, John Smith has not taken responsibility for his work or the materials used. In fact, he even threatened us with lawsuits. As a precaution, our creditor, XYZ Bank, advised us to withhold payment for the remaining balance until we have a resolution from John Smith.

I purchased a metal garage through an online retailer. The retailer contracted Tubular to build the garage. I purchased the garage 4 months ago for $6500. On 12/10 a tech from Tubular called me to discuss specifics of the garage and told me that they had the side walls in a metal color. I responded with no, the color is dark grey. The tech said it would be changed to dark grey. When I got home to see the garage that was almost finished, it was a cream color (ash). I called Tubular Building and was told that's what I wanted. I then told her no, I talked to a tech last Thursday and got all the details straight. She said I was out my money and there was nothing they would do to fix it since the garage was already up. I told her that it was unacceptable and wanted it changed. She then told me she would have them tear the garage down and I can have "my full money" back. She then went on to lie and say no one called me from their office and that it was not their fault the color was wrong. She said she was not able to get in touch with anyone from the retailer. I called the salesperson at the retailer who informed me that he had just spoken with her earlier in the week (another lie) and he would do everything to fix it. She called me back and told me that I was stuck with my garage the way it was and that nothing could be done. She explained that she was the owner's wife and we did not have the right to speak with the owner as she handles his business.
