I joined this program just over a year ago with strong motivation and trust in what was presented. The advertising showed polished Shopify dashboards with $30K–$40K in daily orders and promised that anyone even non-U.S. residents could reach $10K+ monthly profit within six months.

After close to a year of consistent work and hundreds of hours spent on the business, my outcome was zero profit.

Because I’m based in Asia, things were much harder than expected even though I was told my location wouldn’t matter. In practice, it did:

All coaching and group calls took place in the middle of the night for me (around 2–3 AM).

I couldn’t use Shopify Payments, forcing me to rely on Stripe and lose an extra 2–3% on every transaction.

I also had no access to U.S. credit cards or financial tools that most students depend on.

The hardest part turned out to be the supplier situation. Many companies simply refused to work with online-only sellers, while others offered tiny margins (3–10%) or added high shipping fees that wiped out any potential profit. Some even sold cheaper directly on their own websites than the prices they gave to students.

After months of effort, I asked for a partial refund, explaining everything calmly and offering to hand over my store. It was denied because I hadn’t joined enough live calls something impossible given the time zone difference.

To be transparent, I did see a few students succeed, so it can work under certain conditions. But in my view, success depends almost entirely on two factors:

Whether you’re located in the U.S., and

Whether your chosen niche has suppliers genuinely open to working with you.

If either of those isn’t aligned, you can easily invest months into a business that simply cannot be profitable.

The course materials themselves are fine, but the marketing oversells the potential. It gives the impression of an easy, scalable path when in reality, for international students, it’s much more complicated and far less lucrative than advertised.
