The issue that I have experienced was: I booked a flight in 2020 for 2 passengers, 1 of the passengers was unable to travel and so they provided a voucher. In Jan 2023 I remembered I had the voucher with BA and started enquiring about when the expiry date was etc. I called Travel Up to confirm the value, expiry date etc.

1 - they told me they cant find the voucher - even though I had screenshot the last email confirmation of the ticket number numerous times

2 - they said i had to speak to BA directly, which I did they told me that as it was booked with 3rd party they would have to contact and manage. They have an internal customer service number the staff can use. I ,mentioned that to to Travel Up and they were rude and unhelpful they didn't want to resolve or understand the issue and kept fobbing me off

3- I call multiple times, put on hold for an hour at a time and they just talk gibberish

4- I am writing this in June and it has yet to be resolved they tell me they are waiting on BA to confirm, will take 24-48 hours, 2 weeks has passed nothing

They cannot even confirm the basic details to me and I am still waiting on a confirmation since Jan.

I get different information given to me, inaccurate information and they are incredibly patronising. I dont think they even understand English and lack basic customer service skills.

This meant that I am incredibly frustrated and a Global Manager for a large firm, the service i am experiencing is unacceptable and unimaginable. I asked for complaints team and they give me a email address -to which I have sent email to as well

I have a voucher i want to use but cant even get any information about value or expiry - this is outrageous

I was flying with BA to Turkey and wanted to use the voucher, and they kept telling me you will get an email in 48 hours. Ive had to use my own money when i have nearly £400 in credit that I cant redeem.

I want them to confirm the details I have requested since January 2023

I would also like a compensation of the poor and lack of customer service I have received. Ive had to use my own money to pay for Turkey when I have a voucher available to use

it has caused me distress speaking to Travel up for the past 6 months and I cant get a resolution.
