I have tried to book the hotel room and each time, when I proceeded to pay some third company Travelscape LLC stepped in. They slowed down the process and the payment was taken, but the reservation was cancelled. I emailed the company and explained my problems, but no one responded. I think that these two companies have worked together and they both got my money and I was left with nothing.
Agree. Avoid using Travelscape (a subsidiary branch of Expedia). Hotel took booking, paid on the day of booking (to Travelscape) and received confirmation of booking via Expedia. Arrived at hotel to check in - “no booking, booking invalid, no room”. Contacted Expedia - “ Sorry for inconvenience, we know this is frustrating “!? Expedia have withheld 125 AUD part of a 499 AUD cost. Only partial refund received as “hotel are standing by their cancellation policy”. What cancellation policy? We didn’t cancel anything. We arrived, showed up. Expedia very unhelpful, avoid at all costs. Use Booking.com instead.
This company is horrible! Do not use them - cancel a room 10 days prior and will not refund your money!
