i bought a product from the web from viv3 labs.i thought i was signing for a free 15 day trial but was stung and the only pounds i lost was from my credit card. after signing up i tried to cancel and all lines of communication were dead.on the 27th July i was billed £149.02. on the 13th of aug i recieved 2 further tubs of pills but this time there was a name trading planet ltd, and a phone number. when i rang i was greeted by a woman who could speak next to no english but this soon improved when she could see i was not hanging up.she cancelled my order but said no refund.it is a risk free trial and if you do not wish tocontinue with the trial you must phone within 15 days, your out and get to keep the product, if you do not phone you will be billed for the tablets you have recieved as part of the 15 day trial, work that one out. and i could not get through because they are a busy call centre and i should of kept trying says her that can hardly speak english but ended up with an acsent of someones hailing from the midlands. this company are using the terms and condition to hide this scam in, so the best thing to do is do not buy at all. boycot the firm al together.

I did order for thier free products, but after reading comments on here, i decided to cancel the order using their free toll number they provided on thier invoice ([protected]), after some few minutes on holding i spoke to a lady and I must confess she was proffessional as any call centre and she said she had cancel my order or any agreement I might have had with them.
The only problem i had with them was that, when ordering for the free trial, I did enter a promotional coupon number, so the total came to only £0.99 for postage but did realised that they had chargrd me £3.95 for the postage.

same as everybody, i tried their stupid products which is clearly said that i pay only 3.95us$ just for shipping;then when i received the products with the invoice/receipt the cost is really only 3.95us$ each bottle;but then when i received my bank statements they took 3x83.95 euro in my account.i tried to call to the numbers written to their invoice to complaint about it but no is right and active.they are liars.

Is it legal for them to rob my credit card for any money online for this trial can of crappy pills ?

I was a sucker to and got on this scam only via a link from a facebookapplication only to get more money on that game i was playing but i have not got any facebook pounds either and the acaiberry crap cost me 120 dollars from my visa card that now is cancelled to.
I phoned and phoned for the last couple of weeks after i bought the 14 day trial can and nobody answered.
Today i got my can of pills and there was a number on the invoice for the shipingcost for £3, 95.
There was a number +[protected] and today somebody actually picked up the phone and i could cancel my so called subscription.
But i was not getting my 120$ back she said.

This can´t be legal at all.
First they say call back within 15 days and cancel and it can´t take 15 days for the mail to get to sweden from UK :(
I am so unhappy i am thinking of suing them.

Hi

Well I'm just another person caught by they're scam dealings. Been to police reported them for fraud, back to my bank. Bank called them. Got a rude response like I did a few days earlier. When I called the lady put the phone down on me 4 times. Unfortunately they have their ### covered with these so called Terms and Conditions they Don't tell you about to begin with. I was told I couldn't make a claim for fraud although I can take it a small claims court.

The only way to deal with these people is to have their business shut down and if we stand united maybe we could succeed.
I don't intend letting this company away with anything. Check if you are entitled to legal aid and go to a small claims court. This company must be shut down. It is an absolute disgrace. I live alone with a small child. They took 2 lots of £74.49 plus £1.50 surcharge with each transaction out of my account this week. I had to cancel my card immediately. I still have not been sent a second batch of tablets.

The reaction of the lady on phone when calling that company trading planet was in itself a cover. They are obviously frauding behind a cloak of having their back covered. These people involved in this business are nothing but scam artists. They must be making thousands of pounds out of ordinary people. it is appalling.

My Credit Card Company Visa said “I would also be charged even if I cancelled my Credit Card, because by giving my credit number out to the company, I was making a contract to abide, by their terms and conditions”. I can not find the original site either, to see these term and conditions. I phone the U.K. and they would not e-mail me the term and conditions and hung-up on me. Make sure you get a cancellation for both the Acai berry and the Life cleanse. Give your credit card company the cancellation numbers and the date you cancelled and they should guarantee not to process anymore payments to Trading Planet (or anyone of the 15 companies they own), after the date of cancellation. I have been charged by several of Trading Plant’s subsidiary companies. Visa said “Trading Plant has it in their terms and conditions that they can give you credit card info and charge you, to their subsidiary companies”. I asked Visa for the terms and conditions and they said “it is on the original web-site I went on”. Why is Visa not helping out?
In addition, Visa said, “that if you have not received the product, they could process a charge back, for undelivered goods”. Apparently, Trading Planet has to prove you received the goods.

Say a prayer too, that might help. I do not get it. Why are Visa and other credit card companies allowing this to go on? I am going to go to the police, the RCMP, Crime Stoppers, and W5.

This organisation sucks! I just read a previous posting where the lady stated she cancelled her credit card but the bank told her the transactions would still go through on the new one? How is this so? The number I used for Aus is 0011 44 [protected]. Good luck everyone, spread the word...

On 7.7.09 I ordered a 15 day risk free trial of slimming pills. I was then charged a total of $558.48 AUD. I too was unable to get through to the number to cancel the orders. When I finally did, I was told that if I cancelled an order within 30 days of shipment I would be entitled to a refund. I received an email from the cancellations department who advised that I was not entitled to a refund. This is a complete scam, I am no $558.48 out of pocket, I never received any goods and in the end I cancelled my credit card to avoid further deductions. I too could not find the pop up ad that I first clicked on. I feel like a real idiot falling for this scam. How on earth can we stop this sort of scam?

my hubby sent for this free trial. I am now furious as they have sent two lots of the same tablets 6 days apart and taken £82.95 from my card twice, i phone and female foreign told me it was cancelled and she would send me email within 72 hours not happened my bank says there is nothing they can do and i have to wait until 22 Nov to see if cancelled. Bank told me even if you cancel your card and get a new one it will still go through. I am worried sick that they are going to send me tables every six days and charge my husband. He cannot take the tablets as he is on blood pressure tablets which I feel is disgusting as Doctor says they will not tell you something is safe if it has not been tested. We are pensioners and if this goes on we will not need de tox as we will not be able to buy food and get in debt any help will be greatly appreciated. peed off PENSIONER

Oh My God! I can't believe this. We are in Australia and thought we were ordering a 15 day trial period also. We ordered these on the 6th October. They have a shipping date on the invoice of 16th October (10 days later) and we received them on the 26th October - I was charged $132 on the 26th October too. When I rang to cancel I did get through and manage to cancel the order, but they absolutely refused to refund my money - constantly saying (in an American twang) 'I'm sorry Ma'am, but it is your responsibility to read the terms and conditions and you needed to notify us within 15 days. I kept trying to explain that how could I notify them when I hadn't even received a product or an invoice with contact details yets. She hung up on me. We called back and asked to speak to a manager, and were told we couldn't. I told her that I was sure she wasn't the GM of the company if she was answering the phone, so she'd better put me on to someone who could help me fix my problem. She was adamant she could do nothing and she was forbidden to pass on calls.

I don't think I have ever been so infuriated at the helpless situation I find myself in all my life. I am now going to facebook and email everyone I know and spread the word about this unsrupulous and shonky company making millions by running this scam!

Good luck to everyone! The contact number I got through on from Oz was: +[protected]
It appears to be constantly busy now, after trying to make a third call!

My story is much the same as Isobel's and everyone elses.. The company name changed, on the 2nd and hopefully last invoice also the order number was the same as my customer number with 105 infront, so when I did ring they didn't recognise it and said that it should start with a 4... This was after having to ring them endless amounts of times, was hung up on, told the line was really bad, although up to the point to when I started complaining he could hear me perfectly well...Phone number rang out, fault on line, phone was picked up but no-one spoke...I am just waiting for my phone bill now to see if phone number is free like stated.
I went to the bank to close my account and cut my losses as soon as the next parcel arrived yesterday unexpectedly in the post, the order was sent out 4 days AFTER I had cancelled the subscription... When the bank looked at my statements, these people had taken out different amounts in $$$$ then stated on the invoice. I live in the U.K . The amounts were taken out under Agehealth and CTT (+[protected]). The advisor said that they wouldn't be able to notice this as a scam and could not guarantee that they would be able to stop them from taking more money... Hence cutting my losses and shutting my account.
My advice is stay away!

I live at the address that keeps getting quoted (31 Arden Close, Bradley Stoke, Bristol, BS32 8AX) and we are inundated with undeserved mail and complaints. Please understand that WE ARE ALSO VICTIMS. Our address has been used without our permission. We are not running this scam. We don't get any money from it. We just get problems! This has cost us a lot of time and money.
The return address to use is PO Box 13579, Unit 5, Mill Road Industrial Estate, Linlithgow, EH49 9AH. That's the packaging company that send the goods out and handles the returns.
Please stop quoting our address - this is just a private house.

Be careful when cancelling your so called subscription. The cancellation numbers I was given did not refer to products I'd actually been sent. The charge on my credit card was over the amount on the invoice but the customer service woman said the terms and conditions stated they could change the price anytime! These charges also referred to products with different names to the ones I'd received. This made me think that the cancellation numbers were useless. I then told her that I'd cancelled my credit card so if they sent me any more and tried to charge me they'd get nothing. At this point, she put the phone down on me. She also told me that the distribution place in the UK was in Scotland but tghe invoice has a Bristol address on it that sh'e never heard of and refused to recognise. Once again, this suggests that cancellation is also a scam and that they have ways round this.

I cancelled my credit card and the company are trying to get back an overcharge of 23pence per item as the invoice and charges do not match up. A small amount, I know but it's the principle. By cancelling my card, they cannot scam me for any more in a couple of weeks time. Inconvenient but worth it to be absolutely certain.

I am a director of Ordman House Ltd. We are also victims of this scam. We run a legitimate business helping small companies and some of them use our address as their Registered Office. In this case, our address has been used without our permission for shipping products and as a "return address". It has given us huge problems. We do not sell or ship products. We do not take people's credit card details. We are not involved in the business that has caused all these problems. Packages that we have received have been forwarded to Trading Planet Ltd, PO Box 13579, Unit 5, Mill Road Industrial Estate, Linlithgow, EH49 9AH.
Please report the matter to the police as we have done (Crime No. AS2009 0908/0271 ). We are happy to help the police or other authorities to do whatever they can to stop this scam. Derrick.

I ordered 3 bottles on the free trial and stupidly did not read the small print, luckily i googled trading planet Ltd and saw all the compaints about this company who scam people. I got straight onto my bank and cancelled my credit card and contacted the number stated in the terms and conditions. I did get through straight away and was quoted three cancellation numbers well within the 15 day notice period. I was advised by the fraud dept at my bank to write a letter to t he company disassociating myself with them and cancelling any future orders, but to which address? the invoice states a scottish address, the parcel containing the goods states a Bristol address and the terms and conditions states an address in county Durham, reaffirmed by the absolute pompous prat I spoke to spouting a load of crap! telling me he was new to the company and they used to be based in scotland but had moved location since he had started working for them. I have sent a letter to all three addresses. I have been taking the product for 5 days with no results what so oever, only that I can't sleep, and have constant headaches, probably reaffirming the " alleged rumour" that the pills are mainly full of caffeine! good luck everyone. I hope I have done enough to stop any unwanted money going out of my account, watch this space!

To the people here who have called and had a good response when canceling - I did the same thing, well within the 15 days, even was given a cancellation number from the friendly chap who assured me I would receive no more products and no further money would be taken !

Unfortunately, these gits have still taken money from my account ! Canceling with them is a complete waste of time !

Thanks to all who have posted your experiences for saving my money (I hope!), as I have not seen the hidden terms and conditions. I orderer yesterday and then I read all the complaints, so I called this morning to the number [protected], they answered at my first attempt and the woman was very proffesional, she could identify my order and gave me the number of the cancellation. She told me I will have to pay the shipping costs and not recieve the product but I think it's the best I can do to avoid having lots of trouble.
I'm sure I'll never do this kind of things again! Thanks and good luck.

I too ordered the Acai Berry Detox from Trading Planet - I received them today and suddenly had a twinge of concern. I have never ordered this type of thing over the internet. I found all the complaints about the comapany and have cancelled my credit card and then phoned them to cancel my order. I had the same experience as Lisa Cotton above. I called the number +[protected] and the man who answered was professional and courteous and has given me a cancellation number. However I have no doubt that it is a scam as I am alwasy careful to look for terms and conditions and could not find any - now I can't even find the original site which lured my in...yes I feel like a bit of a dummy but thanks to all who have posted their compalints - I am sure it has saved me alot of money I could not afford. to loose. thanks.

Lots of grousers on this site...or maybe some of you guys are their competitors? Who knows. Anyway, I can only speak from my experience which was positive.

I just received my order in the mail and tried to contact the number on the invoice to cancel any future products. No answer. Tried to bring company name up on website and found all your complaints. Talked to bank who said they cannot block a purchase and further said I had fourteen days to cancel the product. Gave me another number to contact customer service at [protected], whereby a recording comes on over and over again. No one there. Absolute ###. I cancelled my credit card to be safe. Guess this should be a lesson to not order anything on line. Good grief, can we get away from the scams ever? Between, telephone calls all hours of the day and night, mail offerings, internet offerings, and people at your door, how do you ever know whether anyone out there is honest anymore? We won't mention investment companies, banks, etc, at this point. Very, very depressing. If anyone out there is in the same boat, don't even bother trying to get ahold of the company. Cancel your credit card, it's less grief.

I just cancelled my order but to get through I had to get a different number than what they give you. The e-mail does not work and the two phone numbers did not work. When I called my credit card co. they gave me this number- [protected]. Make sure that when you cancell your order 'that you get a cancellation number and get the name of the person that you are speaking to, I also cancelled my credit card just to be on the safe side. Hopefully this imformation will help someone.

Oh yeah, check to see if you received a confirmation email and reply to that with your complaint.
The UK number I phoned was [protected].
This has taken a week of my life to sort out. I just hope they pay up. If not my bank will help.

Hi everyone. Don't despair. You can get you money. Some people have and I have received an email saying they are going to pay a refund over the next 5 days. I wait in anticipation. I'm owed £295!

I have phoned them everyday and emailed them everyday.
What seemed to do the trick was quoting the
Unfair Terms in Consumer Contracts Regulations 1999
The consumer Protection Act.
Their own Terms and Conditions. I know these were never available to see and no one ticked a box to say they had read them and agreed, which is what all websites make you do when you go through purchasing.
The company trade in Scotland, so they are bound by these regulations.
Also because the 'contract' and T&C were not sent with the goods in a durable form, they are not binding.
Finally, threaten them with instructing your bank to 'charge back'. You can do this anyway as they have acted fraudulently and the amount of complaints is evidence enough. My bank are being very understanding.
If you go to TLC Investigations.co.uk, there is lots of advise from another victim of this scam. It really helped me.
Hang in there everyone. Be persistent and steadfast. You can do it!
