We had Total Basement Finishing put in an egress window last winter. The worker messed up our stuff and pipes in the ground outside. They left broken pipes and dirt and clay piles in our yard. They said they're busy until the end of the month but we need them to fix it now. We have little kids coming over and it's not safe to walk in our yard. We need them to clean up ASAP.

They said they'd call me by 10/1 to talk about the project, but I had to contact them multiple times to get any updates. A bunch of people came to my house to talk about the project, but nothing has been done yet. I've sent them lots of emails asking about the timeline and expressing my concerns, but all I've gotten are apologies. They keep saying that project managers and staff have left the company. I asked for a refund, but they haven't responded to that either. Two weeks ago, I emailed them again and asked for a refund because they still haven't started the job, but all they did was apologize again and didn't say anything about scheduling the work.

The workers were nice enough, but they left a mess and didn't clean up after themselves very well. Overall, I'm happy with the finished basement, but the process was a bit of a headache.
