THEHIDFACTORY in Houston, TX DO NOT DEAL with this Owner. You can expect the treatment as show below with his childish behavor!Google Harris County Clerk, Assumed Names Search, Travis Deleon and look at the list of his Companies! (No Pun Intended)
No where on his website, does he state no refunds or that customers will be treated like this. I would check with the BBB for a sample on another claim with the same problem which he refused to even reply. He has a F Rating on the Houston BBB.
Warning against this Seller. Sent the wrong incomplete kit twice and refuses to refund the money. Kit is not as described on his website and is deceptive, misleading and full of false information including "Our kits are manufactured in our certified factories" but they are identical to the same kits made in China including the box print.
The following are actual quotes received from TRAVIS DELEON and THEHIDFACTORY.COM and the customer care you can expect from him;
"Let's not forget that I do know your real address [censored] boy. I tell you what? Since we don't do refunds I would like to extend my offer of a refund to you if you are man enough to walk into my shop and get it. I'm sure you won't do that considering your (sic)a [censored] boy" Come get your refund, it's still in my pocket."
"I tell you what? Call peoples (sic)court so we can be on tv so the public can see how petty you are over $89.99... Lol"
"but your way to stupid to even figure it out."
"I will inform your company of what you are doing during work hours and show them all your ingnorant (sic) emails and slanders you have made on our website" ( I was at home on my own personal computer, email account, IP Address and my own time but he threatens to contact my employer.)

You are very lucky if you telling the truth! I bought a kit fome him in Nov 2010 and he included all the Plug and play parts. This kit didn't and you can see how he handles customer service with his above quotes.
Keep reading the search and read what he did to a 2010 Dodge truck and how that guy received the same treatment. Keep going on down to Hous---motorsports and he did the same thing to a Bike, dropped it and screwed it up bad, poor workmanship and again this guy got the same rude service. Go on down and you
will find his previous company, 360solutions, nothing but complaints. Same poor ripoff service and same Travis Deleon. Good luck if you deal with him!
Two main issues in this complaint to seriously consider before dealing with THEHIDFACTORY or TRAVIS DELEON; 1. He refused to answer a complaint to the BBB! If he will ignore them what chance would a single consumer have with a complaint. ZERO
2. None of this transaction was at work, during Company time, or their computer to contact him to advise he didn't ship all the parts; But he threatened to contact my employer and report me! (He did a personel search since he has owned several collection agencies in the past and knows how to look up anyone) Who would want to deal with any business while working knowing if you have a problem later, he will squeal on you like a pig to your employer! That is seriously a sick, desperate Businessman!
GenuineNerd, it is not on his website, he will delete any negative comments if you post on his. His site has a link if you click on it will say "Tesimonials" (sic). This is in a search engine for his company name, scroll to about page 3 and look for "Rants" can be found under his city-imports. Can't get too specific or it will be blocked.
Just as I expected on another post, this Paul Ben Davis is really TRAVIS GARCIA DELEON. owner of this rippoff business falsely posting as someone else. A blind man can see his quotes posted in the complaint he uses the same phrases and words. This 31 year old failure still live with daddy and mommy, in Katy, Texas 77449 and has a list of at least 10 failed business listed in his name. He has so many complaints when you search his background it is sad he is still allowed to open other companies. Some Companies he has owned and some or all turned into failures were 360 Solutions with him failed. Screen Masters he owned, gone, Houston AutoSales Online, gone. Reckless Performance, gone. Clear Pro, gone. Digital Sattellite, gone. Debt Corporation, 2 locations, gone. R.Deleon & Companies, partially gone, (Daddy's Company). He is correct, this trouble maker is going to send a very detailed letter of all his companies, Tax ID Numbers, File numbers, etc., to Texas States Attorney General, Texas Secretary of State, IRS, City of Houston, Texas Comptroller, Sales Tax Department and other agencies. However, I can wait until I get my money from the lawsuit first before they get theirs. This guy is just so dumb, he can't even figure out he took on the wrong "Looser". (But he will soon learn)

The picture in one of his many "Factories" he claims he owns where he manufactures his kits under strict quality standards. I Have 6 website links, exact pictures of his kits, same print, same label same ballasts and same bulbs. ALL ARE CHINA FACTORIES he buys from. Prices start as $22 if you buy a minimum or 5 on the China websites. Contact me if you need a link and want to buy the same kit he sells for $37 less than he sells on CL or $57 less than his "HIDFACTORY” price in Houston. WHAT A CON ARTIST, FRAUD!
On another complaint site, he is so simple minded, he posted under a false userid and stated, "This guy has been a headache, he tells us a refund is not acceptable..." He is too goofy to figure out only he would know that.
Wonder why his 10 plus companies in less than 10 years are gone! THEHIDFACTORY will be closed by the state so be careful if you need a warranty!

of the same phrases and words which show up in your post before. You really do need someone to help you out, your digging your hole deeper every time you post. You don't even have a clue how I can track your post and new enrollments and too slow to catch on.
If any vendors really want to buy some kits to sell other than "Ruben Travis Fraudsters" above, watch for some additional information
to be posted on Backpage and Grisliest right over this Con Artist ad where he advertises for $55. The same kits from China, in
the same box, same ballast, identical kits where THEHIDFACTORY buys them are $17-22 per kit with a minimum of 5 kits.
I'll be posting the email link along with their pictures which shows it is the same kit and you can save a lot of money over his $55-89.99 prices. I will have the ads and pictures up on both sites so and you can go there for the link for purchasing. Both kits are made in China
why not save yourself some money and order from the link.

the State or Texas and IRS is going to shut down THEHIDFACTORY soon so your warranty is worthless with the kid. If you buy from him beware, the State and IRS will not honor his warranty.

I sent an email to the little Kid to show us where he made just 1 effort as he stated above and quoted below. He is not even good enough to come up with a lie that he can prove where he made 1 attempt. Again would you want to buy something from a so called Business that will post your private information online to the Pubic?
His is posted on his business and available for access to the Public but would you buy from some one that will release your Private information? That is a serious violation of privacy between a consumer and a Seller.

Anyone can locate his information because he provides it on THEHIDFACTORY website and as an Assumed name with the City of Houston. I provided my information to him via a tranaction between a consumer and a Business. That does not give him the right to release the private information I provided to him and to do so
was a serious invasion of Privacy under the Privacy Act. It would be the same thing if he posted the credit card number I used to buy from him and frankly as immature and uneducated as he is, I am suprised he hasn't.
Now can you see the difference? I didn't think you would be able to understand Travis. But you will get a chance to see the difference.

He refused to pick up his Certified Letter as well but his Mommy signed for it at his listed address and he did get the Regular copies at his Warehouse/Factory and at Mommy and Daddy's house. I had just purchase a HID Kit from this guy just yesterday. 2/17/2014. His attitude was horrible. As a new customer I would expect a better experience, to be treated as customer deserve since we putting the money on your pocket, but no. Since I call the response was rude. Then I was expecting to go and find a fancy location with really nice waiting area and cordial services, ###! From 89.99 the price went up to 129.90 and his attitude never changed at all. He even scratch from the receipt the part that state that all hid kit comes with a 2 years warranty. My car looks better. Day 2 and everything works fine. Let see how long it last. But this people need to learn that you need to treat your customers like family and lick their ### if you need to. You skills working with people JUST SUCK!
i went to hid factory the worst installation ever seen.
1. When they installed the hid bulb, they left the rubber cover off the head light and messed up my brand new
headlight because when i washed all the moisture got into my headlight.
2. the second worst thing the hid bulb they installed touched my reflector after a week or so
and it burned out my headlight i see all smoke under my hood. And when i went back they said they
said that somebody tampered with their installation and are not responsible for the damage.
These guys dont know what they are doing.
3. later on when i checked their installation They hang one of the ballast to my powersteering fluid
pipe with the plastic tie instead of screwing on to the body and let it hanging there.
they really don't know how to install it. my worst and the last experience with them.
i will never go there again and would not recommend anybody to go there. Think 10 times before you go to them.
because if something happens they won't be responsible.

Thehidfactory should document everything you do and turn you in. Thehidfactory you need to print all his craigslist ads and the ads on here of him admitting that he's the one that is posting on craigslist. He just admitted that he's the one posting on craigslist therefore he is on the wrong on this one. Craigslist is meant for posting items for sale not harrassing and/or doing reviews on you guys. That's where he crossed the line and you guys should definitely take advantage of that.
We have never had so much trouble with a customer since we have been open. This guys name is GARY LYNN WAY, a 57 yr old man that has nothing better to do. Won't even give us the benifit to call him because he rather play cyber games. At this point, it is impossible to satisfy this Gary Lynn Way in Red Oak, Texas. I have picked up many kits from hid factory to sell in the flea market here in Corpus Christi. Never had a problem from my experience with them. When I have a installation issue, I call them and they walk me thru the install. A+ customer service.

The website must be down...I get a photo of an HID light on an orange car, but nothing else, even after leaving the computer alone for one minute. I suspect that he disabled his web site due to the number of complaints.
I have delt with these guys for two years and we have never had a problem. If something is faulty, they do take care of the exchange and send the old part back.
