We recently used Brad G and TEC to replace our roof due to storm damage. Brad and TEC were extremely helpful and professional. My husband was working with Brad when he passed away suddenly. Brad made sure I had everything I needed to get the work done. All questions asked were answered promptly and Brad helped with every step of the process. I was able to walk through the process with the minimalist worry and effort. I am really happy with the results. I love how our new roof looks. The crew was efficient and the clean up was timely. We reached out to TEC when our roof was damaged by hail. I would like to give a shout out to Aaron H. He was very easy to work with: very professional and quick to respond to all our questions and concerns. Was very thorough and patiently explained the process to us. He even went above and beyond and , on his own time, met with our insurance company adjuster. The roof was replaced in a timely manner. It took less that a month from the time we initiated a claim with our insurance company to when we got a brand new, beautiful and durable roof we hoping will protect our family for many years to come. Our roof was damaged due to hail, the process was extremely frustrating... except for ETHAN JEDNAT and The Exterior Company. Ethan walked us through the entire process and was very patient with all the inspections and insurance issues. On the day that TEC scheduled to remove the old roof and replace it, Ethan was there 1st thing and stayed through most of the very long day, making sure my wife and i understood every process and answering all questions. In 2 days TEC had removed and installed a new roof on our home, Gazebo and Shop. 2 very long days, but just two days. The new roof looks fantastic, and cant imagine going through this process with out Ethan J and TEC. Thanks to all.

To begin, Michael L from TEC stopped by our house late on day and explained that many of the homes in our area had their roofs damaged by a hail storm in July. He asked if he could inspect our roof, which he did. He showed pictures of the damage and contacted our insurance company to begin the claims process. What a pleasure, Michael L did it all from start to finish. He was at our home for the entire day it took to remove and reinstall 39 squares of shingles. The cleanup was great. We could not be happier with TEC, as Michael L has stayed in touch to be sure we were happy with the job. Could not ask for a better company and the absolute best representative, Michael L. If I could give Michael and TEC 10 stars I would.

Jordan H, TEC Project Manager inspected my roof for hail damage. He sent detailed pictures of the damage to me which I forwarded to my Insurance Company. He met with my IC Inspector on the roof and sent detailed information on the work to be done to them. The roof replacement was approved. He walked me through the entire process and explained how the whole process would go and how the IC payments would be made to me . He was on site with the work crew during the roof replacement. I am very happy with the quality of the work and the cleanup. Jordan made sure that the job was done right and that the final price was within the IC payment to me + my deductible. I do recommend Jordan Herr and TEC. He made the whole project easy for me.

Mario and his crew did an excellent job putting on my new roof. Mario himself went above and beyond to ensure the job was done to my satisfaction. When they told me they could tear off my old roof and put a new one on the same day I honestly didn't believe it would be possible. But his crew worked diligently even though it sprinkled multiple times. And to my surprise just before dark they were actually done. Mario showed up first thing the next morning to clean up anything that might have been left behind, rechecked the job quality and made sure it was up to his standards. I was very impressed with him and the job in total. I could not recommend him enough! I am currently trying to line him up to reroof my other house as well. Thanks again. FL-1320

Our roof is about 6 months old and has leaked twice, both times damaging the interior ceiling. The roof did not leak before TEC installed the new roof. Both leaks were at chimney. First time, they came out and fixed it by putting caulk around it. Brought in another contractor after second leak who told me it was negligent that TEC do not install a "Cricket". He said a cricket is a flashing or something that is put on the top edge of the chimney so it doesn't leak. Now, TEC requiring me to pay for the repair because the word "cricket" was not on the original contract I signed. I didn't even know what a cricket was until the other contractor told me. I think this is absurd. I signed the contract and will be paying for the repair because this has been frustrating and it is no longer worth the hassle trying to work with them.

TEC is a good company, but their Project Manager Michael Lazorik takes them to a whole new level. When a storm came through it did significant damage to my roof. Mike came out, grabbed his ladder and spent a considerably amount of time on the roof making sure he documented every inch of damage. He obligingly dealt with my insurance company with the initial claim. After I was approved, he came out again and made sure he had the exact shingle I wanted and even went as far to make sure it matched my shed. We scheduled the roof to be installed approximately two weeks after all the i's were dotted. As fate would have it, there was a miscommunication at TEC and the materials showed only two working days later. I called and asked Mike why the materials were delivered so soon. He quickly quickly rearranged his schedule and came out to my house and ensured from stripping to installation the entire process went smooth. My roof now looks fantastic and I couldn't be happier. A big shout out to Mike for smoothing over the rough edges and meticulously overseeing the entire job.

We had this company put our roof on in appropriate 4 years ago when we had hail damage. I was under the impression that it was a 10 year warranty come to find out its only the shingles they say are covered for that amount of time "their labor is only 2 years" well 4 years in and my whole 3rd floor drywall is bowing to find out the roof was leaking and the insulation is ruined and leaks were both in front and back of our home left and right side .I reached out only to have their employee tell me I should of noticed since it has been over 2 years! I did not go up and tear parts of my drywall out to check to see if anything was leaking since it was just put on 4years ago! I don't know how long it was leaking until I saw water damage on numerous spots on the ceiling! A roof should not be leaking after 4Years!If they are a reputable computer would stand behind their workmanship! Then to boot rgey want to charge me 250$ to come look at it! Never again! They got in on the oh mighty dollar when that storm came numerous companies came in from outside our area and did slap up work! My homeowners insurance and an adjuster agree when they said the roof should not be leaking in numerous spots after 4years!Beware!

This email is directed to the Owner The Exterior Company, dba TEC Roofing: My roof was repaired on Wednesday, Oct 21, 2020. There were a LOT of nails and debris left on the property. Additionally, at the beginning, the workers placed a tarp on my patio to catch some of the debris and when the tarp was full, they did not bother replacing it, causing further debris to land directly on my patio. Subsequently, they removed items on my patio that they should not have touched as they did not ask permission. It appeared that the majority of my patio belongings were thrown on the grass next to the patio, not placed carefully. As I am also doing interior renovations, it appears that there might have been some damage to a toilet that was temporarily placed on the patio while powder room renovations were taking place and there was substantial damage to a firepit mat that was used to protect the patio from firepit embers. There are now large holes in it. It needs to be replaced and cannot be repaired. Steve Forte came over that night with the magnetic roller and picked up a few more nails but there were still a lot left and quite a bit of debris. There was noticeable damage to my walkway flagstone in the way of scratches. I pointed it out to Steve and he told me he would come over the next day with his manager to assess the damage. I told him that because I would be working, that he could talk to my partner, which was agreed on by all at the time. Steve did not want to hang around as he made it very clear many times that he wanted to go home. He got in his truck and drove off. My partner, the next day, picked up a large handful of remaining nails and some additional debris and placed them in our garage. He wanted to keep them to show Steve and his manager the trash that was not picked up and that the nails that were found IN THE DRIVEWAY could have been hazardous to our vehicle tires and could have done damage to peoples' shoes and possibly feet, as well. Steve showed up by himself. No manager. He claimed his manager could not make it. My partner proceeded to tell Steve about the debris. Steve saw the debris in our garage. He went into our garage and helped himself to it, throwing it out in our large trash receptacle we put out on our curb twice a week. He didn't ask if my partner wanted to hold onto it or not. Steve had no right to come in our garage and help himself to what we had there. My partner got irate and told him to get off of our property, which he promptly did. My partner wanted to dump the trash receptacle to retrieve the nails, debris, etc but he did not do that because of excess garbage already in there. He did not want to garbage-pick and I can't say I blame him. Instead, he called TEC Roofing and wanted to speak to Steve's manager. His manager called a while later and apparently, they had some words. The bottom line was that, the manager was supposed to call ME as I am the homeowner, to make arrangements to come to my property to assess the damage and to complete clean-up. That never happened. At this point, I want to talk to the owner. What has transpired has been unacceptable and unwarranted, as nobody else had such issues occur in my neighborhood. I sincerely hope that I receive a call from the Owner and that he can come to my property, assess the damage and complete cleanup in its entirety. For the price of this roof, how the workers left my property is a disgrace. The scratches look horrible and the landscaping looks like they didn't care one whit how it was left. I got the distinct impression that the workers wanted to blow through my roof and get the heck out of dodge as quickly as they could without making my property look as nice as it did when they got there. I am extremely disappointed and am looking for repairs, replacement of damages and restitution.

The Exterior Company was a disappointment overall. Although their website looked professional, their services were sub-par. The sub-contracting of the job led to poor quality work and damage to my property. The lack of communication and slow response time was frustrating, and the worker who was sent to fix the issues was not efficient. If you value your property and want quality work, look elsewhere.

Had my roof done by The Exterior Company a few years back in Oct '15. Just recently, in Oct '19, some shingles came off from the ridge cap and it took them forever to come out to fix it. Finally, in Jan '21, they repaired it but guess what? Now, in Oct '21, more shingles near the ridge cap fell off and I've had enough. I sent them a letter saying they better pay for a new roof from someone else or at least cover my insurance deductible for the repairs. Also, I asked them to double-check the flashing around my chimney which was done earlier and didn't look too hot. I got another roofer to give me an estimate and turns out, the ridge cap was done just fine, but the flashing needs some love ASAP.

I had TEC fix my crib roof, siding, gutters. We signed a contract with TEC promo (10.5" ***). But then when they sent me multiple invoices, I had some troubles paying. But finally we sorted it out, I paid them the whole amount. I waited for couple months for my promo but nothing came. Then I rang TEC office to ask for my freebie, and they said they'd give me it because I already paid all the money. But what I got was *** ($499). Not *** ($749 or more), which is what they promised. I get that the promo stuff might be gone, but they should have told me before they just sent me something else. Or at least sent me something that was worth the same as the promo. I'm really cheesed off about it all, it feels like they tricked me into signing a contract. I sent them lots of emails but they haven't come through with the right promo yet.

the exterior company replaced our roof but they mess up big time. we was tol if they had to replace all the decking due to it not being up to code, it would be cover by our insurance. but only some of the decking was replace and the wrong size plywood was used. they also submitted more plywood to the insurance company. they left a mess on the outside of our house for us to clean up. our roof sunk where they replace the wrong plywood. we talk to someone and they did come out to try and fix it but they left gaps in places. they also just left a mess again. the original salesperson took pictures of the problem but it still has not been fix. instead, they send us a bill. we also need our gutters replace and the gutter person showed up with no warning. we have other problems that still ain't fix and it's been months. do not use them!
