Tax Rice review: Srvc that was never provided because I canceled

I called Tax Rice to see if they could help me resolve my tax debt. The gentleman that I spoke with over the phone to help me with my tax concerns and told me that I needed to make a payment. I told him at the time that I did not have the money, and that I would not have the money until the 15th of August. I am currently on disability so I know that I did not make any other arrangements because I was not receiving a regular payment. My credit card was charged on the 10th. Of course, that made me call the company and ask what was going on. When I called I was advised that the date was the 10th for the draft. I told Gary steak that was a mistake, and I had the wrong date. I told him that I was going to go talk to a tax consultant and I would get back to him. I was advised that because none of the work was done that I could get a full refund. I called him back the next day. He sent me an email stating that my account would be canceled. I never heard back from him after I let him know that I did not need the services. I told him to go ahead and cancel everything because I got it resolved. Now I’m finding out that I can’t get it canceled because I didn’t cancel within three days. I would never made aware of that over the phone. I do not understand how you cannot provide any services, but still feel that you are obligated to receive the money. No work was done at all.
