Hello,

I would like to file a complaint regarding my request for an employment document from TCS and have it resolved

I initially requested an employment letter confirming my period of employment and my role within the company. However, I was instead offered a skill certificate, for which I was asked to contact my previous manager to obtain their approval.

I would like to clarify the following:

I have no contact with my previous manager or team (a wonderful team by the way), as the relationship was strictly professional.
I no longer have access to the TCS system and cannot obtain this approval.
My request concerns a standard employment document, which should be issued by HR based on internal records.
Despite explaining this, I was told that I must obtain my previous manager’s approval in order to receive the certificate, which is impossible for me. I am currently still going back and forth with the HR representative (Jaya Prakask) to get this simple document. Obtaining an employment letter from TCS has been harder and far more stressful than applying for a work permit.

When I worked at TCS, more than 50% of my coworkers had temporary residency, meaning they will eventually need Permanent residency. How are we supposed to proceed if TCS is unable or unwilling to provide such a basic document for immigration purposes?

I initialy raised a ticket In Alumnii portal (1584789), they referred me to an HR representative. Severals Ticket was raised after that and some of them are still in precess to be "resolved"

Therefore, I request:

Either the issuance of the employment letter as originally requested.
Or, if TCS policy does not allow providing such a document to former employees, an official statement confirming that TCS does not provide employment letters, which will be sufficient for my PR application and to avoid penalties.
