I have been a loyal customer of Surrender to Chance for quite some time now. I have tried many other perfume sample stores such as Luckyscent, Scentsplit, and The Perfumed Court, but none of them compare to STC. Their customer service is top-notch, shipping is always lightning fast, and the fragrances are always fresh and true to the original.

I have even purchased several full-sized bottles after trying their samples and have never been disappointed. However, my recent experience with STC has left me feeling a bit let down. I ordered a sample of Tom Ford Lost Cherry and was eagerly awaiting its arrival. I was so excited about this perfume that I even ordered a travel size bottle from the official Tom Ford website before receiving the sample.

When the sample finally arrived, I couldn't wait to compare it to the original. Unfortunately, the sample was a lot weaker than the original. While the original had moderate projection for the first hour and lasted on my skin for about 3-5 hours, the sample had no projection whatsoever. Half an hour after application, I couldn't smell anything at all. To make matters worse, the sample had an oily and sticky texture that wouldn't absorb into my skin (see the picture of my shiny arm and an oily spot on paper).

I was extremely disappointed by this experience as STC has always been my go-to place for perfume samples. I really hope that this was just a one-time accident and that their quality control will improve in the future. Despite this recent mishap, I will still continue to shop at STC as I have had so many positive experiences with them in the past.
