This company is the best. They really care about giving you what you NEED, not just what they wanna sell. We worked with Mark G. He'll walk you through all the options based on your lifestyle and what you actually need. We talked to a bunch of other sales people from different companies, but Mark G was the best. We totally recommend him and his company for all your solar needs. Sorry if I sound like an ad, but I'm just being honest.

We got our solar put in 7 years ago and I've been pretty happy with it money-wise. But now, it looks like the damage caused by the solar installation is gonna end up costing me more than what I'll save in 20 years. They're taking forever to come out and check the roof, even though we've had 3 roofers come by and they all say the leaks are obviously from the solar installation, 'cause that's the only place we got major leaks. Their contract says they ain't responsible for the roof after 5 years and we gotta pay to remove and reinstall the solar. And wouldn't you know it, just when we had a buyer lined up for our house, they're backing out 'cause of all the roof leaks and Sun Valley Solar ain't backing us up. This solar thing has cost me a sale, solar removal and reinstall, and a whole dang roof. I wouldn't recommend anyone to get solar on a tile roof after this nightmare. Turns out, solar is just a big ol' scam when you think about all the risks and costs involved.

I really recommend SVSS for anyone thinking about getting solar. SVSS just put a 10.08kW system on my roof and it's connected to SRP. The people I worked with were hard-working and really nice. *** spent 3 hours teaching me about the SRP price plans and what solar options made sense. It was super helpful and made it easier to compare the other solar estimates I got. SVSS is in it for the long run, unlike some other solar companies. They even have a commercial solar business to keep them going after the rebate period. That's why I chose SVSS. *** was my project manager and he was on top of everything. Everything was scheduled quickly and efficiently. Because my roof is old, it needed some prep work before the solar installation. They explained how to include that in the solar installation costs for the tax rebate. *** and *** also noticed a problem with the roof prep work during the installation. They told me about it and the roofing company fixed it. I wouldn't have known about it for years if they hadn't said anything. This shows how careful and thoughtful the team is. I bought a 10k solar system with a 25 year warranty on the *** solar panels. Sun Valley Solar is the company that handles the warranty stuff. But even with a warranty, they charge me $130 just to come and *** my whole system. The guy they sent to my house was really nice and respectful. He saw that one of my panels had a shattered solar cell under the glass. He called *** to get approval, but they said I only have a warranty until 2009. I was sold a 25 year warranty, but I didn't have the paperwork then, even though *** had all my info. But now I found the paperwork and sent it to Sun Valley Solar. They said, "Please send a paper with the serial numbers of the panels and my address." I thought that would be enough, but then they asked for the contract or purchase agreement. I found the paperwork for my deposit with my address and name on it. Then they said I need a paper with my name, address, and installer all on the SAME paper. It feels like they're just trying to avoid honoring the *** warranty. The last email I got from Sun Valley Solar said I could call *** Direct. I didn't know that was my job. I called the number they gave me, but it was the number for installers. They transferred me to the right number, but I had to wait on hold for 35 minutes. I hung up and tried again, and this time I had to wait 58 minutes to talk to someone from ***. And I couldn't even understand them. The only solution they gave me was to try a different solar company for the warranty work.
