We stayed at Siesta Key Beach Resort and Suites in April and were extremely disappointed with the pool situation, especially for families.
The property advertises multiple pools, but in reality, there is only one pool that families can actually use. The only heated pool on the property is restricted to the gym/adult area, and children are not allowed. Meanwhile, during our stay, that heated pool was barely being used—often occupied by just one person—while families were left with limited options.
Traveling with kids, having access to a usable pool is important, especially when you’re paying resort-level prices. It was frustrating to see a perfectly good heated pool essentially off-limits and underutilized while the main pool became crowded.
This setup might work for adults-only travelers, but it is not family-friendly as presented. If you’re traveling with kids, I would strongly reconsider or call ahead to fully understand the restrictions before booking.
Jeff was very rude it’s a wonder how he still has a job.
The reason that Jeff still has a job, is because he was not actually as rude as you claim. You are mistaking not getting the answer that you want as rude. Most adults know the difference between being told something that they do not like and being rude.
