On July 14th, 2023, we arrived at the St. Louis West KOA Holiday in Eureka, MO. We scheduled a two-night stay. On the morning after the first night the electric went out. We went to the office to determine if it was a park problem. The park sent a technician over who tested the pedestal we were hooked up to and said it was working, the problem was with our 5 wheel, and we should call a mobile tech. We did that. When the mobile tech arrived, he determined that the problem was indeed with the park pedestal and not our rig. He did this by running an extension cord from our rig to another electric pedestal close by. We went back to the office, and they then sent out a more knowledgeable tech, who confirmed that they problem was indeed with the park. We had to pay the mobile tech $512 which the park refused to reimburse. All they would do is credit us for our two-night stay which was $168. So, we are out of pocket $344 for the RV parks mistake. The first technician they sent over even told us he does not know a lot about electricity.
Desired outcome: I want the park to take responsibility for their actions and reimburse us for the amount of money we are out of pocket for their mistake.
