Repo service
Talked to dan when calling to enquire about repo services. He was completely rude and very unprofessional! Not only did he try to rush the conversation like he was pinching his anus from blowing a hole in his seat from explosive bowel movements, he was also rude and if you couldn't answer his question in point 2 seconds he would say something negative about me. It was like calling a roast line, but the only thing funny was his view of life. He probably beats his wife, assuming he could get one, kicks his dog and touches his own kids... Will never call or look to them again for anything after dealing with that horrible creature. Bet he's 'still with her' too hahahaha!
Bad customer service
I called to find out how to get my car repoed from someone that wasn't making payments and the guy was very rude on the phone. He wouldn't let you get a word in at all to explain the situation he dominated the conversation the entire time boasting about how he's been in business for 30 years and then just hangs up the phone very rude. I went somewhere else to another company got very good advice and help immediately and she treated her customers with respect. Please if you are looking for service do NOT deal with this company. Just don't waste your time they don't care about the customer only about talking too much!
repossession
I called them from Louisville Ms and the guy that answered was rude and disrespectful and told me if I sent in the paperwork that they would call me back and not to keep calling them. Then he just told me to just forget about them repoing anything for us all together. Looks to me like they don't need anyone's business. If you don't want to do your job then you shouldn't be in that type of business. No one likes to do business with people like that. That man is giving that company a bad name doing other business that way.
scam
Calling speedy repo was our worst mistake. this is by far the worst repo company we ever had to deal with. they have one simple goal, steal money from people. we had to repossess a car from maine but our dealership its located in south florida and we didn't know any other repo companies in that area so when we called them, they said they would charge us $350 if the vehicle had an active gps. the invoice end up being $2000 where they included some other fees and never explained what that was before doing the service. we called them asking for an explanation for all those fees but no one could explain us anything since this is their plan in first place. we called whoever was handling that case and this jerk answered the phone. extremely rude guy called jay carter, I repeat jay carter, and I want to make sure I mentioned his name cause i've seen some bunch of other bad reviews about him, who was already yelling at me and also yelled at my coworker when we were being super polite even after all. after that he threat us saying that if we didn't stop calling they wouldn't release the car. speedy repo is the real definition of crooks and I wish I had read all the reviews before doing business with them so if you're having the chance please avoid them.
customer service and business ethic
I work at a title loan agency in Knoxville and called Speedy Repo for an inquiry into whether or not they would repossess a vehicle. The man that answered said " You all don't pay and they aren't worth it" without knowing who we were or what we were asking. I tried to answer and he said that all we do is talk over people and that we just needed to go away.
I was being polite and I was absolutely astounded at the way he jumped on me as if I owned the place and wasn't just calling to ask a question. He was rude and wouldn't let me say a word before hanging up on me.
unethical behaviour
We don't have any vehicle repossession company within 60 miles of us. The closes repossession company is repossessing for other business in our area so they are extremely busy and could take a while to repo.I googled vehicle repossession near me and speed-repo.com popped up. I called them to ask about some repossession. They were extremely rude to start. Then continued to tell me that he was sure we didn't pay our repo man and that's why we were looking for someone new. I then did my research on them. (I learned my lesson to do that first.) There is website after website talking about how horrible they are. I called them back to tell the guy thank you for being so rude bc I found out what kind of people they really are. He told me that he was going to hire a crack head and pay them $50.00 to come key every car on our lot! Thank God we have recorded lines.
I was absolutely floored with the $1700 bill I received from Speedy Repo Recovery. I have no problems paying a legit bill but this bill is ridiculous! They charged us over $1000 as a contingent fee for the value of the vehicle. What does the value have to do with it. Charge me a decent repo fee and I'll pay it but they have unethical values obviously! I also will be contacting the BBB. This is wrong on so many levels. They take total advantage of the situation and aren't ethical at all.
Repossession
Wow! This company is the worse company in the history of ### companies. Not that this dude over the phone is rude but completely incompetent.. his business and his rudeness made me literally cringe. I simply wanted information in the charges he kept talking over me, and when I asked him to repeat he was yelling at me telling me no wonder my boat was repossessed in the first place. Mind you it was stolen from me. So this #### what's only a number he works from and no manager to put his ugly character in place. I called 2 more times back just to give him the peace of mind. But #### is an ####. Don't do business. I realized so many people left terrible review and I'm glad to let you know I feel the same way! Stay away from them!
Does anyone know there location? Or there real names? I delt with scott, Ann Gold and 1 other guy. I live in vegas, Paid 3k to have them get my van back in Nov 2017 its now July 2018 and I have not seen the van yet. No answers why
Does anyone know there location?
Called [protected] for information
This dillhole of a [censored] answered and was the most rudest person I have ever come across. My company recently hired these dumb####s for a simple repo. When I called into get an update on the status of our claim. This [censored] advised that we would need to call the rep that was assigned to us. I had advised this person how I have just taken over the account and would need some help with getting the agent info. He starts saying that he was not able to release any information in regards to the claim. I said that was fine, just needed the agent name and number and he started yelling saying that I would have to get with the rep in my office that assigned the repo out. I again advised him that he was no longer here, and again, I was now taking over the account. He than stated.. "well, I guess you're #### out of luck". Are you ####ing kidding me. This is a service company? Is this how you help out the people that keep you in business, again you dumb####! After spending no more than 5 minutes on the phone I just hung up. These guys could eat-a-####. Do not use this company for ####!
Repo
We hired the company to repo a car in texas and was told it will cost 350 dollars with 10 days free storage. After they repoed the car they emailed us an invoice that totaled 1100 dollars. They charged us 350 for the repo storage fees and a contingency fee which they never said any thing about. This company is nothing but a fraud hack company that lies to customers and they dont even do the repo they hire an out side company.
I am a car dealer out of Texas with a customer who skipped to SD in a 1998 Mitsubishi Montero . I called to request information from Speedy. A very rude man (I believe his name was Dan) told me that the vehicle wasn't worth repossessing, it wasn't worth $100 so he didn't want my business and hung up. Now wait a minute, did I ask you to take a loss on a vehicle value or take the vehicle in lieu of the fee? If you charge $100, $1000 or $10,000 (not that we even reached that point for a repo and I am willing to pay, what difference does it make what the car is worth? I know it's an older vehicle, but it was in very good condition and had just made a 900 mile trip, so I think it would be worth a little more than $100, even it it was broke down and just able to get from point a to b,I would rather burn the car to the ground than to let a thief keep driving my vehicle. . All he had to do was quote a price, if he was afraid I wouldn't pay then he could have requested a deposit, or the full fee up front and then, if he still didn't want my business, t he could have politely jacked up the fee to an astronomical amount and wished me a nice day.
extremely rude, not honest people
Basically contacted this company to repo a vehicle for my company. Quoted me a specific price made me sign a Hold harmless which is not just a hold harmless letter but, also a contract to pay more than quoted. I trusted i was being told all fees and prices upfront and when invoice was faxed to me it was $1200 more and on top of that said if i dint pay that same day i wouldnt get the free 10 days of storage ! If i would have known i was going to be paying this much i wouldnt have provided them with skip tracing information i made it easy for them to rip me off. The worst part wasnt about the money it was the employees extremely rude and were yelling at me speaking over me kept calling me dude and told me i need to learn to listen because i wasnt letting her speak . I couldnt believe what i was hearing i dont understand how these people are even in business. You have no right to treat people like this. I hope people do a little research before contracting these people not worth the headache! Save yourselves!
Just got off the phone with this company to ask about a quote, and he told me I was "wasting his f**cking time" because I was doing research. DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE.
I have used this company many times I always pay 10% of the value. It is better than losing 100% and not getting the car recovered from the debtor. I find them to be fair and professional in my dealings.
Towing
They claimed and promised services they did not fulfill and charged my credit card $700.00 to repo 2 cars that they never got every time I called they claimed the car was blocked in or not there but the GPS clearly showed me where the car was sure enough I grew suspicious and drove 300 miles to go get the car and guess what it was exactly where the GPS said it was .Once I called them they never answer and have my number blocked the refuse to respond to any messages or anything. This company is horrible they are rip offs and I suggest no one do any business with them they are liars .
I contacted speedy repo to remove a vehicle that belongs to a friend of mine that has been sitting in my driveway for 3 months. He told me that I was a piece of [censored] with nothing better to do with my life and life is to short and he refused to help me and hung up. This happened at 6:45pm on Sunday October 13th.
Calling the [protected] for information
I called this company for information about their services and the guy who answered the phone became unreasonable and started yelling at me, then he hung up the phone. I called him back and he proceeded to threaten me saying he would "pay a crack head 30 dollars to come to our lot and key all of our cars" then this guy called me a ### and hung up again. This was ridiculous! My college witnessed this also. Who the hell do you guys have handling your business?! I have NEVER experienced this before!
Dishonest, vague price quotes
I called these guys a few times about a repossession. One man named Jay was very rude and annoyed when asked about any details regarding price. He claimed a flat fee of $350 for the repossession, as does their poorly written webpage. The vague writing on the page states that the price is flat, but then in the very same paragraph states that you may be responsible for towing, storage, repair and impound fees. It seems to give them freedom to tack on any additional fees they want, right? So I asked the guy, very politely, to clarify what this means. He immediately got strangely defensive and said "you know, your car is probably worth no more than $1, 000 anyway, so I don't want your business." Hmm, if the flat fee of $350 is accurate, then why would the value of my car matter? Idiot.
I then called a company called Repo World from repo-world.com and got the same slimeball. I then called yet another repo company in Las Vegas and had to ask if they were part of Speedy Repo, to make sure I don't have to speak with them again. The man assured me they are not, and said "those guys at Speedy Repo Are useless."
Speedy Repo has a horrible reputation; they are rude, unintelligent crooks. You've been warned. Stay far far away.
I couldn't agree more!
The guy became irrate when I asked if the initial $350 included the private party repo insurance!
He asked about the lienholder 20 different ways- so I told him it was current and I could send a copy of the title- he would cut me off.
So when the lowlife asked if I was more concerned over the insurance or would rather hear the pricing- I told him the pricing didn't matter if they didn't have the proper insurance coverage.
He told me he couldn't work with a lady who talks over him and hung up! LOL
Rip Off 1000%
This Speedy Repo company is the biggest scam there is in the repo industry. Ive been in the car business for over 10 years and never seen anything like it. normal repo fees are somewhere around the 500$ mark. these guys are charging over 350.00$ and all they did was pick up a key and drive the car off after they were told already where the vehicle was. the didnt have to use their "skip-tracing" and we were still charged over 3500.00 to have them pick the car up for a day. Absolutely highway robbery! Everyone thinking about using a repo company please do your self a favor and call somewhere else as this company Speedy Repo is the definition of the word CROOK! and their supposed manager there Doug Walters is an absolute A hole and was raising his voice the entire talk and couldnt tell me why he felt it was needed to rip off clients that arent made aware of their extra charges they are charging us., Doug Walters should lose his job and this company should be shut down for bad business, they take serious advantage of their clients even in the easiest repossession cases they are hired for. And to boot the repo agent when he picked it up gave me a bill for 300.00 and thats what i expected to have to pay. not 3500$ WOW! also they charge a 140.00 "key Fee:" even know we handed them a key and didnt have to get a key cut or anything. Doug told me that that was from having to walk inside and get the key from us. Just an absolute nightmare!

I used this company and I gave location of our unit and they stated they did skip tracing and the unit was repossessed at the address i gave them. They charged me $2100 just to repossess our unit at address I gave them. Not only that I tried to pay them by credit card and they refuse. All the people at this company have a serious attitude at the point when you call in for the 1st time but a whole different story when they want your business thier attitude is as friendly as you can be. I have been in the business over 15 years and have never heard of a repo company that would cost $2100 only for the perecentage of value of the unit. This company is a complete scam and the repo business bureau should really look into this company and close them down. 100% SCAM ! DO NOT DEAL WITH SPEEDY REPO!
rick
I contacted Speedyrepo to pick up a customer who didn't make their payments. because this customer left our are I looked online for a Repo company near our customer's current location. I ended up calling Speedyrepo to my utter dismay. While talking to the guy who answered the phone I asked him what they chatged to repo a vehicle. He told me everything...

What a joke this place is! We had to repo a car of ours, conducting a private party repo. We were given a quote of $350.00 by Jamie, and she was sure a great help at first. Come to find out, they lied to us about going out and making an attempt to get the car--- they never did it when she was telling us that it was being done. Also, we gave her the name, address, and telepone number of the person who the car needed to be repo'd from. Once ICU got our car, they sent us an invoice for over 2, 500.00! On this was a 90.00 fee for lock out, and a 2, 000 fee for skip tracing! HA~~~ I used to be a skip tracer, and I know darn well that they had no skip tracing involved in this case. This company is a scam, and everyone who works there should be ashamed of themselves. I don't see how they can sleep at night. The worst part is that I could not pay the 2, 500 for the fees, so I had to let the bank take my car. What a fricking joke this company is. Don't use them!

Unprofessional-Possibly dangerous
I called this company about getting MY vehicle that I CO OWN with my ex - who is deployed & behind on payments- and I got called a fat [protected]@# (I weigh 117) a queen of my trailor park (I live in a 5 bedroom brick home), and various other filthy (c^%$) degrading things. I read elsewhere of paperwork these people produce as being 4th grade level. That is very believeable. The police said it is not criminal but it should be. Not all people in the military are saints- they are capable of committing crime just like any other human being. These people sound very dangerous. I hope that someone out there is reading these complaints. Why are they still in business? Better yet- HOW are they still in business?

Just be glad you did not give them any money. They also go by the name ICU, Inc. They stole my boat from me. They are from Surrey, B.C. You are one of the lucky ones that did not get swindled out of thousands or your vehicle or both.
Go to /link removed/ there are several people listed on there that they also took advantage of, from all over the U.S.
I called every entity I could think of to let them know of their business practices. From what I heard there was a lawsuit from Florida against them.
Right now, they think they are untouchable, but there is a higher power they must answer to and WILL answer to. Whoever is involved or has been involved in doing this to people. They will bring their own destruction upon themselves. If you give people like these enough rope, they will soon hang themselves. Their day is coming, you can count on that. It might not be today or even tomorrow or even next year, but it will come and when it does, they will wish they had never done what they have done to people.
Apparently they are not smart enough to run a business legitimately, if they did, they could have so much more money than what they're trying to scam people out of now.
It's unfortunate they are not wise enough to understand that.
This lady is some kind of weirdo. Perhaps her husband requested to go to Iraq to get away from her!

Beware of this man: JOE KAEN
They charge what they want.
They take the gps from his car and hide it.
They do not have a place of work, so they do not publish their address.
