Customer service is terrible! They said they'd tow my car because I was 7 days late on my payment. I tried to make a deal, but the boss Alex and the sales guy were so mean and unhelpful. They told me to get my stuff out of the car so they could take it away. I'm all paid up now, but they still threaten me. The guy kept saying "if you can't pay, you can't have a car," which is not true. Nobody should have to deal with this kind of meanness.

I was late with my payment by 10 days and Alex wouldn't take it. He wouldn't let me talk to anyone else either. I hung up and called back, but they put me through to him again. My family called from another state and made the payment with no problem. But Alex still told me to get my stuff out because the tow truck was coming. I didn't choose this place - my car loan was sold to them. This is the worst business I've ever dealt with in my 50 years. I used to be in law enforcement and I bet a place like this would have a lot of legal problems if they were investigated.

My payment was due on the 5th, but I couldn't pay it until payday. When I called Southern Hills Acceptance, *** was really mean and talked down to me. He said I had to pay today or they would take my car away. I told him I would pay before it was 30 days late, but he said I only had one day of grace. I've had car loans before and they always worked with me as long as I paid before it was 30 days late. I told him I couldn't do anything until payday, but he told me to be a grown up and borrow the money. This was the worst customer service I've ever had with a finance company. I wouldn't give them any stars if I could.

This company is not good at all! Don't do business with them! They are so mean and don't care about anyone. Their communication skills are terrible! I don't even want to give them one star. The people who work there need to find new jobs because they are so rude. They asked me for information and then never called me back. I had to call them and they treated me so badly. When I asked to speak to their boss, they got angry and wouldn't tell me any names. I hung up after telling them how I felt. I think it's important to treat people with respect, but they didn't treat me that way.

This company is crazy, they don't even wanna work with you during the covid pandemic. All they care about is getting their money, even if you're not 30 days past due. They threatened me and said they don't care about covid 19. They got loud with me on the phone and I got loud back, and then they threatened to take my car away. They're so rude and need to be shut down. They keep changing managers all the time, it's a shame. I think they get a commission when they get their payments and then they go back to Mexico. That's exactly what they did when they sold me the car. Nobody stays in that company for more than 6 months.

I been drivin' my car for 2 years now and always paid on time. But I had some family deaths and got sick, so I needed to pay for my registration late. I emailed Southern Hills Acceptance and asked if I could pay on Friday when I get paid. But the repo supervisor was so rude and mean! He said he would block any payment I made and threatened to repo my car even though it was only 10 days late. He even yelled about how my deferred payment would be reversed if I didn't pay. I work in collections and I've never seen anyone talk to customers like that. This company is the worst! Where's the empathy?

Don't do biz with this company if you can help it! I had my car for 2 years and made my payments like i was supposed to. I traded in my Chevy for something newer and told them about it. But they called and emailed me saying they didn't know where my car was and that they were sending a tow truck. I told them where it was and that the check was sent to pay it off, but they acted like they didn't know what was going on. They keep harassing you all day 6 days a week. They're rude, don't care, and are liars. Don't do biz with them!

I gotta say, I've had a lot of car loans in my time, but never dealt with a company like Southern Hills Acceptance. They seem to get a kick out of making people's lives miserable. They made a comment about having the right to take my car, but they're just being unreasonable. It's like they enjoy treating their customers badly. They're rude, threatening, and condescending. I've been emailing them because talking on the phone is just too stressful. I'm only 21 days past due and I asked to make my payment on the 14th, which is less than 30 days past due. They can't even report me to the credit agencies legally, and I have a great payment history with them. But they had the nerve to tell me I haven't built credit. They're threatening to take my car and won't let me make a payment. I'm making a reasonable arrangement, but they're choosing to act this way. I don't know what kind of people work here, but they're definitely not proud of an honest day's work. There are so many bad reviews of this company, and they just keep doing business like this. If they take my car, I'm taking legal action. Seriously, don't do business with these guys!

Southern Hills Acceptance is a company that engages in shady business practices. Alex Betancourt, a senior account manager, and his crew in Phoenix work with the Santa Ana office to illegally repossess cars. They do this by taking cars less than 30 days past due, even though in Nevada, California, and Arizona, a car loan is not considered late until it is 30 days past due. This gives them the opportunity to make it difficult for the consumer to get their vehicle back, and they resell the car at their auto auctions. They bully car owners who have paid their down payment and put money into their car.

Car owners have the right to pay after the due date as long as it does not exceed the 30 days past due. However, Alex Betancourt has contacted customers after only one day past the due date and harassed them, threatening their lives and their families' safety. He has even followed them using the tracking GPS in most of the cars. They claim it is a requirement, but it is only a requirement because they intend to steal the car.

They have locked accounts so customers cannot make payments, and they threaten customers' lives because they know where they live and where the car is at all times. They are practicing shady and thug bully behavior, which puts families and consumers' lives in danger. They do not follow the laws and feel powerful because they can track customers and stop them from making payments.

Customers have filed complaints with the attorney general's office in all states and are taking legal action for harassment, threats, and the fact that Southern Hills Acceptance denied their payment with no just cause. They suggest that others who have had similar experiences contact their attorney immediately and go after this company that is violating people's safety and their rights.

I just experienced the most shocking Customer Service with a so-called Customer Service Rep named Alex. He behaved like a gang member threatening my life if I didn't do what he wanted. He was rude, bullying, loud and he lied to me. He would not carry a conversation with me. I would walk Alex right out the door and fire him immediately. I would never allow such a person to represent me or my company in any fashion whatsoever!

I do also agree with all other reviews no costumer service here. Will threaten you to receive payment, call people that have no reason to be called about a one time late payment always one time, always answered, never non contact with institution. I do not appreciate being threatened nor called everyday even agreed on a day to make payment, got very frustrated with person. Please do threaten me again and will come with repercussion from. Do not use this institution very bad CSR experience, very bad people working for company, they need to reevaluate their employees and the employee handbook!

This place is the worst! The boss is a real jerk and the sales guys are super rude. They even threatened to take my car away just because I was a week late on my payment. I asked if I could work out a payment plan, but they said I had to pay right away or they'd come get my car in an hour. They didn't help me at all! They just kept saying that if I couldn't afford the payment, I shouldn't have a car. And they kept asking where my car was parked, like I was trying to hide it or something.

This company is so rude! I had to deal with *** and *** and they were so disrespectful! I don't want to do business with them again and I'm going to complain to ComplaintsBoard.com. If someone higher up than *** could contact me, that would be great. I regret doing business with this loan company. *** was really rude and kept interrupting me and talking to me like I was a child. They're just so rude! I asked them not to let *** deal with my account because she's so rude and they don't listen when I tell them my pay dates. *** is a terrible manager and everyone else who works there is just as bad. This isn't the first time I've had a bad experience with them, but it will definitely be the last.

This dude *** at Southern Hills Acceptance is the worst. He wouldn't even transfer me when I asked him to, and he's so rude. He talks over you and won't let you speak. When I asked to speak to someone else, he said he was the boss and I had to deal with him. He doesn't even know about their payment methods or the laws like the *** GAAP, truth and lending act, or the ***. They need to be reported to the SEC because they don't know how to do business. It took me two weeks to talk to someone else and they were just as rude. I don't want to work with these people who don't know customer service or the law. This dude doesn't even know what's in the contract. They need to train their people better and supervise them. They don't even know about the stamp duty or remittance processes. I give them an F until they get their act together and hire new people.
