Dear riza,

Thanks for your response. After almost 20 days I got the tablet. Most important thing that I feel that its like mental threat to order somthing through online website. First customer has to beg for the delivery and now what I get its like waste of money.
I got defective item. This is what I got through online shopping.
This time I will not call to your customer many times to beg because I already faced so much difficulty in so many days. Only requesting you once to collect your item & refund my money at same time pleaseeeeeee...

So I hope that you will understand my concern & will take the neccessary step.

Really their service is very bad. i ordered one tablet on 4th July & made the online payment... still awaiting for delivery. After making so many calls they picked the phone & given the excuse that they have some problem with supplier & somthing happening with supervisor in warehouse... Really unprofessional response from them... i am just trying to confirm what is process to make the complaint in Economic Department.

They returned back the Defective Item & assured me to refund the money
BUT STILL AWAITING MY REFUND...
UNNESSARLY BLOCKED MY CREDIT CARD MONEY FOR MORE THAN ONE MONTH.

Never and don't even try to order in Souq.com, they are cheaters! I ordered Shake and take and I used my debit card.. And waited for 2 weeks without any calls from their side, and until I call them and follow up. I found out that my order has been cancelled due to the seller weren't able to give the item...this is totally absurd, imagine if I didn't call them up.. I will have no idea at all. And all they can say was sorry for the inconvenience! In a first place if the item is not available, why the hell you keep on posting the item? We'll see, they say that they will refund the money back to my account within 5 days max., Knowing that refunding will take ages! I should have listen and rely to the negative feedbacks!

Souq.com is the most unprofessional e-commerce site, it seems they think they are too big to care. Placed an order (Order
No. [protected]) for a flat screen TV 12 days back - when it was
advertised as "in stock" on their website, and continued to be so even 2 days after I made the purchase. After 12 days and repeated follow-ups,
the order was cancelled by them ! Apparently they suddenly realized
after 12 days that the item is out of stock. Fraud is the word that
comes to mind...S

I bought a nexus 7. It worked well for 3 months. When I contacted them when it stopped working, the reply I got was their warantee is only for 3 days. So please think twice before buying any electronic item from them

Souq.com is the worst online shopping website ever. I had the worst experience ever and there is absolutely no point complaining as it does not make any difference and they don't care at all. No follow up, lies they keep on promising to follow up and to call you back but nothing happens. Be it for ordering an item or returning it under its current warranty. I bought a phone s4 and faced delays in delivery! Had to pick it up myself to get it earlier and chased them everyday. The phone stopped working within 6m, it took them about 10 days after I called them to call me back and after 2m I'm still phoneless ... No point mentioning they don't care about the fact that my post paid plan is running although I don't have a phone. I kept on calling them and beside reading what's on their screen they won't help. Their way out is to promise to call you back which of course do not happen and complaining on the phone is a waste of time. They are not reliable and once the item is sold do not expect anything else from them not even getting the item on time. Completely unprofessional.

Since last month facing for return the faulty equipment HP printer 3515 (Order No: [protected]). Customer care told me to wait yesterday, Nobody call from souq.com, today i called, again same answer. I need good solution.

I wish I had seen all these posts before trying to buy from Souq com. I have had the same story that many have had, Souq took my order and credit card payment and told me to expect delivery by max the 8 Feb 2014. On the 8 Feb 2014 I called their 'call center' to be told it was not even in stock! Needless to say I was ordering this item for a birthday present and though the 29 Jan till 8 Feb would be plenty of time - NO way! Tried again today 9 Feb to get more information on the order with no luck (in fact indifference to my plight). I have now cancelled my order and will start again with a reputable company such as Amazon. Please beware of this company and I agree with another post above is there no way that the UAE Authorities can stop this behaviour! Pass the word is all I can do.

i'm veeeery angry too right now, as i ordered 1 tablet ID [protected] on the 23rd of december from dod_uae also and guess what i received just now? 3 men watches amd 1 vaseline as a gift! i wanted to kill the poor delivery guy!
now as i see i will never get my money back and even i called and complained i dont think they will fix it!
i will ask everywhere how to raise a serious legal complaint about this! i wait for a tablet and get men vaseline instead! great!

I gave galaxy duous for repair to dod_uae seller, as I've purchased from them through souq.com. It has already been 4 weeks. Still no contact from them. Even the mobile number the dod_use has mentioned in the site is not working. My issue ticket has also been closed, I did not contact. This is not true, I have called customer care and even confirmed that aramex is coming to pick up, yet they closed the ticket number and even after 4 emails to them there is no reply from the seller. I request souq. Com to step in and do the necessary. 4 weeks is a high time for repair. The phone was giving me trouble from the day 1. I was reluctant to report after reading people's experiences. Anyways it was good that seller contacted me for repair. But . Request for more transparancy.

hi, i placed a order of 2300AED worth goods on28th Nov for x'mas. after waiting about 2 weeks i called them to ask why aren't they shipping it and they said some items are available and some aren't. so they will ship some of the items and others they will refund. so i said ok and only few items came on 18th dec.and when i try to withdraw my remaining balance of 1880AED they were saing that its non refundable. i called so manytimes, they said no system error and try doing with another browser.but no luck. so what left was for me to order another item. so i pais 35 AED extra and ordered samsung galaxy s4. now they aren't emailing nor calling and no updates even in the webside about my item. so im helpless and couldn't do anything. my advice to all is, SHOULD DO SOMETHING TO GET OUR MONEY BACK as well as should banned the site. they are completely cheaters who doesn't care of human feelings at all.

my name is sonal. my complain is about souq.com .they cancell my order id [protected] on 11 dec. and said i'll be refunded with 3-5 days.bt its been weeks and still i havnt got my money back. they issue me a ticket (147630) in reply to my complain bt nothing happen till date date. i just want my money back as soon as possible. on a sad note i dont think i'll buy anything from souq.com onwards. waiting for your quik response to my complain.

Worst service I had. When you call a customer service to ask about your more than 7 days delayed order, they should talk in respect and apologize for their responsibility of this delay, not talking so rude and put the blame on you because you did not pick up the phone one or two hours ago as it not office time. I also have another order from sukar.com which I ordered 1 week ago, it was mentioned shipments within 1 business day. The guy on the phone instead of apologizing, he was just telling me it still pending and was trying to teach me what the word "shipment" means.

I teruned an order as I received two entirely different products than that I ordered.At the time of returning they said refund will be made within two days after delivering the product to saller. but I didnt receive my refund even after 18 days after delivery.When I contact them they says wait for 2 days but no actions are taken after so many two days.. It is not only matter of money but also matter of trust. How we will buy products with confidence if things are like this.

Hi all,
I also have bad experience shopping through souq. Me and my brother ordered 2 wrist watches which were looking really good on the souq's website but when we got this I was totally disappointed. My watch was very rough and ugly and my brother's watch was so larger in size and looking like a wall clock... lolz.
It was really a bad experience for us.

I ordered Samsung galaxy S3 through SOUQ.com on 1st of August. The order got confirmed on 2nd of August and MY credit card got debited with 168 Kuwaiti Dinars. Todays is 12 th of August and till now I havenot received my ordered Galaxy S3. On the fourth day after payment I called them, they told it will be delivered with in one day. On the next day also they repeated same. Today when I checked with the customer care, First time one guy by name Ahmad told that it will be delivered today. I called again after 30 minutes. One lady picked up the phone and replied that there is some issue with the supplier, it may take another one week .Then I asked her why SOUQ.com is putting another deals on their website saying another 15 pieces available for 165 Dinar. She told it is the sales team who is doing this. On their webiste, for my order id it is showing the status OUT FOR DELIVERY. When I checked with customer care she told it is a system bug and she told it is the problem with OPERATION TEAM that causes the delay. She told she is not allowed to give the OPERATION TEAM contact number

Firstly, this 'company' may not even be operating out of Dubai.
Their phone number might be a Dubai number, but there is no physical address for their shop on their website. And if you've ever bought anything from amongst the souqs in Dubai, then you know that anything electronic will likely be a fake.
Their website is registered to an address that belongs to a website design company called 'Kippreport', who probably designed the website for them. Try contacting this company to see if you can get the name of the souq.com business owner:

souq.com seem to advertise on (free) blogger websites, that look set up to try and give the view that they are a genuine company if you google their name.

its real shame, but still my fault dealing with such a company again! u r not even close to nefsak.com or jumia.com.eg quality!

Another fault -which i deserve for using souq again- is souq.com usual delay!

" and when i asked for manager to solve my problem, she simply again says "sorry, all managers started holiday already" ! and when i asked for solutions because i am hurry, she -indirectly- clarified that she has nothing to do evenif its their fault, the ONLY solution is from my side to WAIT !

Briefly with souq.com:
-My order is 4 days delayed
-Managers are busy spending their holiday
-No person in charge, manager or team leader to solve things
-"yes Its our fault, yes we cannot solve it, yes this is what we have, and yes you have to wait more"
-common excuse "Shipping Agent Fault" so what! find professional shipper! and who chosen current shipper, you or your clients!

its really my worst online shopping experience, and i will make sure to spread the word to prevent from scamming more clients!

My husband purchased a Samsung S4 for me through Souq.com which stopped working in 1 week, we returned it back to souq.com to check, an Aramex courier guy came to pick it, its been 20 days and we havent heard from them .I really do not recommend anyone to buy anything from them. This is poor courter service, we paid cash on delivery, phone stopped working in a week and no response from them.We should get our money back.

First of all in UAE like this Fraudulent is Ah ram, in UAE how many people affected i don't know. but this is very very worst thing i never seen in UAE online purchase. I greatly disappointed with this.
i will not close this issue as simple, i am going to complain UAE consumer rights office, i have evidence for your attention see the attached snap shots of the existing wrong SMS. in your shipping order e-mail it is clearly mentioned as New mobile not used one. but i received a new one. because of i have trust in souq.com i purchased 2-nos of Blackberry Z10. one mobile is used one & other one is un-locked version it may be used one also. so choice is yours provide a proper solution. for your kind information we are going to inform this issue to our friends & colleagues those who are all trust souq.com. here after no body will purchase any goods from souq.com.

This is Nitin. I am latest victim of Indiasouq.com. I ordered S2 Galaxy mobile (order number 1780) on 1 Aug by paying full amount through net banking. Mr. Himanshu assured it will be delivered in next 4-5 days but till date no tracebility of mobile. Now All their executives, customer care number, website every communication channel is down. They are fake and cheat.

I wonder now if my item will be delivered as I was expecting it today. I've tried to call QEXPRESS but no one is picking up the phone. I am worried that my item will not be delivered as well. Can you please be aware of the complaints of your customers as I have read so many complaints in Facebook Souq fan page. We are spending money here so please give us a good service as we are patronizing your online shopping website very well. This is a matter of TRUST. I have placed an order for Samsung Galaxy S4 on 2 August 2013 (Order:[protected]), and they deducted the payment from my Credit Card immediately, but its been more than 12 days the mobile still not delivered, Always sending reply emails as follows, "Your request (#671290) has been deemed solved". I have experienced that, the Souq.com along with Aramex starts cheating with customers. I humbly requested to all of you do not deal with them in the future.

I saw a good looking watch but this one got small scratch on it and also it goes loose from your hand when you move your hand i cancelled it and asked for refund at the same day after 20 minutes of getting it fossil is a good brand and it's good for it's price but it's real price is 70$ not used i even knew after i bought it and when called them they mentioned if there is anything wrong with it they will return it and give me my money back and that was more than a month ago, i didn't pay by my credit card because i am cautious i thought they might use it and here i saw some reviews about abusing their CC new watch not used so the watch is even over rated with a higher price and there is good reviews about the watch written by souq.co or the seller that they hide behind i swear if i knew that it was even used i wouldn't bought it and when i knew i called souq.com and they told me if there is anything wrong with it you will be refunded bu it turns on to be a lot of process it's been over than a month and the seller doesn't want to get his watch, , what does that means that he finally sold they doesn't want to get it back he just wants the money and scam more people

Seems Souq.com has no 'quality control' on suppliers. They are not interested to know if someone has put wrong description or wrong quote to disturb others who are selling genuine product and at reasonable price. Those suppliers who put wrong price and do not supply later should be blocked. Those who supply fake should also be blocked. As someone posted above for DJ perfume. They put right pic and name but write at the end it's a tester or they have small size bottle in pic instead of big which misleads to buyer

STAY AWAY FROM THEM NOW: REASONS BELOW
I ordered stuff 3 things 3 days after each other the one item i ordered last came first. Then the other 2 items they said the couriers can't find my premiss and i should pay extra for the inconvenience. Then i call them, and it take 17 - 30 mins before somebody answers there is no option for a call back feature, So im spending money on something i don't even own yet. Then the lady tells me its got "NOTHING"to do with them i should contact the courier company. So im like, WAIT I BOUGHT THESE ITEMS FROM YOU...how does it have nothing to do with you? shes like its not our problem. here is the number Sir. Number was incorrect by a long shot. Had to sit on the phone again for 17 odd mins. Then i was furious and they put the phone down on me. Then i sent numerous number of complaints via the website system and external means. most definitely well over 100 E-mails i sent. It stated that i would have an answer in the next 3 - 4days. Well its been almost 3 months now. maybe they mean Years? Fact is not only is the website a huge scam and fake and 2nd hand items and opened items and used items and so on and so on. There is literately zero customer service. I threw the item away I actually miraculously received by them, just for the simple reason is i don't want any further dealing with them in the future. I have also tried to purchase the iphone 5 at the 999. don't believe a single word they say they know their rights and there is no CONSUMER LAWS to protect them or us. In my country if you have not stipulated the quantities of the item you are selling. You have to by law sell that item at the price stated to all the clients who purchased it. And if they run out of stock, they will have to source more at the same price for you. If they stated iPhone 5 @ 999 first come first serve limited quantities (1 ONLY!) then at least us the customer knows not to even bother. if there was maybe 100, then yes we could try. Saying the website was not working is a LAME Excuse i been dealing with the E-tailer market for over 10 years now. They are just talking nonsense. Servers crashing to the influx of traffic, YOU RUNNING A E-tailers website! Are you running 1820 Servers we live in the 20th Century Entry level servers can even handle that amount of traffic at once. Your lies, scamming, service and pathetic people in your customer service department should be shut down this very moment and your trading license should be stripped from you with immediate effect. You guys are getting Exposed now its only a matter of time now.

I can only say 1 positive thing, your websites idea and layout is probably world class to other E-tailers out there. I feel ashamed its so badly orchestrated and managed. Clearly the person at the head of the company has his Degree and thinks he knows what he is doing...pfft.
