SMI Card Services review: Holds

I paid for a cab that cost me $17.80 and smione card held $16.00! What type of card company holds a childs support. I had no idea smione card holds 20%! Since when ? and for a cab ride smione holds my child's money. So pretty much almost equal to what I spent on my cab ride for my child is what Smione card held off it. I disputed it (today is Friday) not knowing this invasive card company dips into your account and touches your child's support payments as they see fit. Of course now, I need smione cards permission to spend whats left after the hold as smione card has shut my card down having me call them and ask them for permission to spend my child's money on his needs because they hold 20% of funds not caring if your child has needs that arent met due to them shutting my card down and me thinking it was a fradulent transaction of the driver when it was Smione Card! Im disgusted with them! The state needs to really reconsider using another card company that Doesnt hold child support payments. Havent had a payment in 60 days , the second I spend on my child a ride, Smione carrd snatches pretty much the other half of my childs funds off of my card that were left leaving him $4 and some change when he shouldve had $20! Why is this necessary?!?!?! I have NO security anything setup on my card account. If its mandatory to take 20% over a cab ride. I'll just let smione charge me some of my child's money at an atm and withdraw it to avoid holds! Ridiculous and so unnecessary for cardholders!
