The team finished in 2 days! We approved everything. Our neighbors couldn't help but stop and praise them for their work. We are the most "seen" house in our housing area. I'm giving interested neighbors Smart Coat Painting Company, LLCs contact info. We love the way they took care of our landscaping, kept everything clean and neat, and detailed all of the trim. They went the extra mile.

Had our house painted by Smart Coat like 3 years ago and it was great! They came on time and were real pros, worked hard and were nice folks. They did the job quick and we got lots of compliments from our neighbors and friends. They helped us pick out the paint color and even gave us extra paint just in case. We totally recommend them, some people even came by to check out their work. We just love it!

The guys who came to our crib were super cool and respectful of our stuff. They did what they said they would do and replaced some of the siding that needed it. They missed a few spots, but it's all good, it still looks dope. The only bummer was that the ceramic coating didn't stop the carpenter bees from doing their thing. They still chewed through it. But the dudes were chill and even put on a thicker coat where I asked them to. The house looks AMAZING now. I'm curious to see how long it lasts with the 25 year warranty. The owner is a really nice dude and our experience has been solid so far. Fingers crossed it stays looking this fly for a long time.

We was lookin' for somethin' to fix up our cedar siding on the front of our crib 'cause it been peelin' for like 20 years. We was thinkin' 'bout replacin' it with Hardie plank or paintin' it, but Smart Coat was cheaper. This our fourth time fixin' up our house. They did a lot more work than the last painters, they stripped the cedar almost all the way down to the wood (like 80%). The paint they used was thicker and more durable too. The crew was a little hard to talk to 'cause only one of them spoke English, but we made it work. They fixed some of the cedar that was startin' to rot too. Four workers finished the job in two days and cleaned up after themselves. I tried to post some pics of the house, but it didn't work. I love how it looks now and even put spotlights on it at night. It's been a month and it still looks great. I'll update y'all every year (Halloween just passed) and I hope it lasts at least 10 years, but I want it to last 25.

Smart Coat was great from start to finish. They were easy to work with and kept us in the loop throughout the whole project. They finished the job in just a few days and the paint job looks amazing! They even left us with touch up paint for later. The painting team checked with us before finishing to make sure we were happy. They even helped us open some stuck windows on the second floor. There was some rough wood at the roofline, but they did their best to paint over it and fill any gaps. The paint is thick and sticks well, filling gaps and sealing old wood. We would definitely call them again for future painting needs!

We went with Smart Coat Painting Company, LLC after meeting the salesman at the home show. He came to our house, seemed very thorough and according to ComplaintsBoard.com the company had an A+ rating. We were told the house would be thoroughly washed down, then a crew would come to repair any wood damage and remove and replace all the old caulk. Then the paint crew would come. He said they are all different people. Not. The wash down is just a hose off. If any bugs, dirt, cobwebs,...remain they just paint over them. They do not have anyone to repair bad wood. They just paint over it. Caulk is hard to come by now, so they would not be able to do caulking. Crew speaks Spanish. We speak English. When we realized they were not understanding our questions, we had to call the owner 90 miles from us, he in turn called the crew boss some place else then he called the crew at our house. We went with this high estimate because we are retiring this month and want our house to be in good shape and as maintenance free as possible. Having the wood and caulk done was very important to us. Wanted to talk to the salesman who made the promises, but he was out of town for a funeral. *** was not feeling well. Salesman uses a different contract than the company and it is very vague. We thought caulk meant "new" caulk and prepare surface meant sand down and replace. It does not. This was a very, very disappointing experience. We would give the company a C minus rating. We do not recommend them at all.

I gave Smart Coat Painting Company, LLC $18,500 to paint my crib. I wasn't there when they finished the job, but when I checked it out later, I saw some problems. The biggest issue was that the vinyl siding on my crib was messed up because of the different colors they used. The crew didn't fix it, so I had to do it myself. When I pushed the panel back in place, a big area was left unpainted. They also messed up the back window trim, leaving it jagged. They painted the front trim of my bay windows, but not the other windows on the front of my crib, so it looks weird. Their ladder even bent my vinyl siding on the front of my crib. There are a bunch of spots where the siding doesn't overlap and isn't painted, so the old vinyl shows. I told the owner about the *** issue and sent him pics on May 9th. He said someone would come out the next day, but they didn't. I messaged him again on May 19th and May 25th, but he hasn't responded. I just want my crib to be finished.
