Sure wish I had read the complaints first... ordered a set of fenders for my 1941 GMC PU in October 2019...finally got them in early December... right out of the box I could there was going to be an issue with the LH side in fitting...the RH side was perfectas it only took about 10 hours of fit and finish work to get ready. The LH side was a completely different story; I would add I contacted this Rob guy via email the day that I got the fenders and noticed the problem. this is gone on multiple times over the last 1.5 years without much resolve.
With well over 150 hours (probably closer to 200 hours) and multiple emails and even texts and phone calls advising this guy that this vendor was going to break given how far out of parameters it was. In measurement it was approximately 6-7 inches longer on the lower front which is kind of hard to take out of a fiberglass fender. Well, as predicted, even after following specific instructions on how to install, it broke and is totally unusable at this time. This is kept my project car from even hitting the road for about 1.5 years; at this time I should have been able to have everything finished including paint and interior... But that is not going to be the case.
Although I've contacted Mr. Rob via direct an eBay email with a timeline of 48 hours I have but one response " What address did you send them to...can't find any here on eBay..."

If anyone is looking to purchase Fiberglass parts, DO NOT buy from Rob Johnston at Showcars Unlimited Fiberglass and autobody parts. I had ordered fenders and a nose which he said he would have them done in 3 weeks. Well 3 weeks came and went and all he had done was the nose.
I paid him $1000 and gave him $800 in original good steel parts and what I got in return was pure junk. Every week after that was an excuse on why my fenders weren't done. 8 weeks later I made it clear they need to be done or my money sent back or I'll be making a visit to his shop.Which he replied with "I would be f****ing delighted to see you. Well another week went by and I finally got my fenders and they are terrible. He called them quality. It took me hours to get it to somewhat line up and for a little better, I still have TONS to do. Now I know, Fiberglass is never perfect but this was ridiculous. Please learn from my mistake and purchase from either VFN or glasstek.

Beware!

I too was lied to by this company (Rob)
he sold me some fender flares for my Datsun 240Z
when i received them, I at first thought they were rear flares, as they did not fit properly on the fronts. I contacted him, and he then explained to me, these flares were designed to work with an Air Dam the he no longer offers.

His first solution was for me to put them on ebay and sell them to another sucker.
I could not in good conscience do that. He then said i should take a saw to it and a lot of fiberglass and rebuild this whole thing to fit my car. (this is not an option) He then got rude with me, cursed at me a few times, and refused to admit, he mislead me, and did not notify me the flares would not work, and would have to be majorly modified to make them work.

Do not do business with these people. They are dishonest, Rude, and just all around bad people.

My dad ordered a hoodscoop and when it arrived it was utter rubbish. The mounting studs are just 1/4" bolts cast in place at all sorts of odd angles and with different amounts of threads exposed. This was supposed to be a replica of the original, but the studs on the original are smaller. The hood in that area is flat from front to back and the scoop has over 1/8" bow in the middle so it rocks front to back. The finish is not smooth. The corners are not a smooth radius like the original so the trim does not fit right. The mounting holes for the trim are all filled in. We sent it back because the owner said he was sure he could fix it. When we got it back, it looked worse than before with a corner chipped off, a long crack along one edge, and a short crack on the other side. There are grinding marks all over it and places where there must have been voids or surface flaws that have been filled with something, but not smoothed out afterward. The tops of the louvers should all be the same height, but the middle two (of four total) are over 1/8" lower than the front and back ones, because of the bow in it. All of the mounting bosses on the bottom where the studs are embedded are broken. The owner said he needs pictures of it on the hood so he knows where to make further adjustments. Even if he gets it to sit on the hood flat, the shape of the louvers is all wrong and they don't line up right.
